I’m expecting a little girl in late [name_u]August[/name_u]/early [name_f]September[/name_f] and am finding myself drawn to names with soft I or E sounds and L’s (and even V’s) like [name_f]Emily[/name_f], [name_f]Emilia[/name_f], [name_f]Olivia[/name_f], [name_f]Lily[/name_f], [name_f]Liv[/name_f], and [name_u]Eloise[/name_u]… but none of these feel quite right. Any suggestions for girl names with a similar sounds that will fit with big brother [name_u]Parker[/name_u]?
I also recently recalled [name_f]Savannah[/name_f] [name_u]Guthrie[/name_u]'s baby [name_u]Vale[/name_u] and how pretty/unique I thought that name was–one my husband is unlikely to go for despite the fact that he often prefers less common names. I thought I would prefer a decidedly feminine name with [name_u]Parker[/name_u], but [name_u]Vale[/name_u] has got me thinking otherwise perhaps…
[name_u]Vale[/name_u] is fantastic. I think I’d stick to your original plan but use [name_u]Vale[/name_u] in the middle—it sounds great with girly names because it sort of grounds them. Something like [name_f]Amelie[/name_f] [name_u]Vale[/name_u] or [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] [name_u]Vale[/name_u] would be gorgeous.
Thank you for all the lovely suggestions! I have a lot to think about… I keep coming across [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] in my search and there is a lot I like about it, but as kala_way said, it makes me think of [name_f]Melody[/name_f] without the M–like it’s somehow incomplete. Thank you again!
