Thank you! Sorry I don’t like [name_f]Maren[/name_f]. I think it’s now between [name_f]Adrienne[/name_f] and [name_u]Holland[/name_u]. I really like the nn [name_f]Addie[/name_f], [name_u]Ren[/name_u], and [name_f]Holly[/name_f].
Although I’m not overly keen on [name_f]Adrienne[/name_f] as it reminds me of [name_m]Adrian[/name_m], and I generally prefer distinctly feminine names however if I forget about [name_m]Adrian[/name_m] for a minute it is a lovely name. Also I really do like the combo of [name_f]Adrienne[/name_f] [name_u]Grey[/name_u] and [name_f]Adrienne[/name_f] definitely fulfils your criteria. As for [name_u]Holland[/name_u], it really isn’t my style, I don’t tend to like Countries for names, my pet hates are [name_f]England[/name_f] and [name_f]Ireland[/name_f]! However I do like the nickname [name_f]Holly[/name_f] for it and as long as you [name_u]Love[/name_u] it that is all that matters.
Overall I would say my vote would be for [name_f]Adrienne[/name_f] [name_u]Grey[/name_u] it’s an absolutely lovely name.
[name_f]Adrienne[/name_f]: the sound is rather unisex, but the spelling is obviously feminine. The main problem I see here is the variety of spellings ([name_m]Adrian[/name_m] ranked #58 for boys in 2015, [name_u]Adrien[/name_u] for boys was #855 and [name_f]Adrienne[/name_f] [girls] was #848 according to the SSA site, I believe [name_m]Adrian[/name_m] is a fine spelling for a woman as well). [name_f]Adrienne[/name_f] feels very 80s for me (probably because of [name_m]Adrian[/name_m] from the [name_m]Rocky[/name_m] movies).
[name_u]Holland[/name_u]: it is very boyish, but I would not even blink at a female [name_u]Holland[/name_u] (the more I think about it, more I see it as “girl”). I like this one because it’s easy to spell, it’s not overly frilly (seems like your style), but it has a clearly feminine nickname - [name_f]Holly[/name_f]. [name_u]Holland[/name_u] was #845 for girls in 2015 and it is not ranked for boys; while [name_f]Holly[/name_f] is losing popularity over the last years, and was #490 in 2015. [name_u]Holland[/name_u] and [name_f]Holly[/name_f] are familiar as words (= easy to spell), but not common as names. The perfect recipe: not popular, but familiar. The only problem I see is that [name_u]Holland[/name_u] [name_u]Grey[/name_u] looks VERY unisex (I wouldn’t be able to guess the gender of this person at all). My advice is to give your baby 2 middles: the first one and more likely to appear in forms to be more “girly” and the second one being [name_u]Grey[/name_u] (which has great meaning to you and could never be forgotten).
[name_u]Grey[/name_u]: I think it could be a great given name if you gave it a thought, mainly if it is a family surname/ name. I see [name_u]Grey[/name_u]/ [name_u]Gray[/name_u] as unisex ([name_u]Grey[/name_u] was #916 for boys and female [name_u]Grey[/name_u] or [name_u]Gray[/name_u] whatsoever were not ranked) and one of my favorite double given names is [name_u]Gray[/name_u] [name_f]Ann[/name_f]. Though, it depends on your surname.
My Rank:
1- [name_u]Holland[/name_u] nn [name_f]Holly[/name_f]
2- [name_u]Grey[/name_u]/ [name_u]Gray[/name_u]
3- [name_f]Adrienne[/name_f]
Thank you for the comments, I am taking everything into consideration. As for [name_u]Grey[/name_u] as a first name, I really like it but the name [name_u]Grey[/name_u] is for someone very close to me that passed away and I think it would be hard to constantly hear it and be calling my daughter that. It would remind me of him too much.
I like [name_f]Holly[/name_f] but not [name_u]Hollis[/name_u]. However I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] [name_f]Savannah[/name_f]! In my opinion it ages well and would suit any personality.
[name_m]How[/name_m] about…
[name_f]Julia[/name_f]
[name_f]Mia[/name_f]
[name_f]Alexandra[/name_f]/[name_f]Alexandria[/name_f]
[name_f]Stella[/name_f]
[name_f]Vanessa[/name_f]
[name_f]Lara[/name_f]
[name_u]Ruby[/name_u]
[name_u]Harper[/name_u]
[name_u]Brooklyn[/name_u]
From that list I like [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] but it’s too common for me. I like [name_f]Vanessa[/name_f] as well, it was on my bigger list, but I don’t like it as much as [name_f]Adrienne[/name_f], [name_u]Holland[/name_u], or [name_f]Savannah[/name_f].
