Trying to decide from one of the following names for our future daughter. Have a son named [name_u]Remy[/name_u] and our last name is [name_m]French[/name_m]. Open to other suggestions as well, but do not like super girly names in general - more along the lines of strong yet feminine.
[name_f]Clara[/name_f]
[name_f]Leonie[/name_f] (lee-ownie) - love this one but concerned about how others will pronounce it
[name_u]Remy[/name_u] and [name_u]Hadley[/name_u]
[name_u]Remy[/name_u] and [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] (might be a bit to matchy-matchy)
[name_u]Remy[/name_u] and [name_f]Freya[/name_f]
[name_u]Remy[/name_u] and [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]
[name_u]Remy[/name_u] and [name_f]Kara[/name_f]
[name_u]Remy[/name_u] and [name_f]Annabel[/name_f]
[name_u]Remy[/name_u] and [name_f]Mae[/name_f]
[name_u]Remy[/name_u] and [name_f]Maeve[/name_f]
[name_u]Remy[/name_u] and [name_f]Tess[/name_f]
[name_u]Remy[/name_u] and [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] (this sibset is very matchy-matchy but they go together amazingly!)
[name_u]Remy[/name_u] and [name_f]Ava[/name_f]
[name_u]Remy[/name_u] and [name_f]Kaitlin[/name_f]
[name_u]Remy[/name_u] and [name_f]Hope[/name_f]
[name_u]Remy[/name_u] and [name_u]Harper[/name_u]
[name_u]Remy[/name_u] and [name_f]Madelyn[/name_f]
[name_u]Remy[/name_u] and [name_f]Zoe[/name_f]
[name_u]Remy[/name_u] and [name_f]Georgia[/name_f]
[name_u]Remy[/name_u] and [name_f]Naomi[/name_f]
[name_u]Remy[/name_u] and [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f]
[name_u]Remy[/name_u] and [name_u]Bryn[/name_u]
[name_u]Remy[/name_u] and [name_f]Eve[/name_f]
[name_u]Remy[/name_u] and [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f]
[name_u]Remy[/name_u] and [name_f]Nora[/name_f]
[name_u]Remy[/name_u] and [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f]
[name_u]Remy[/name_u] and [name_f]Rebecca[/name_f]
[name_u]Remy[/name_u] and [name_f]Rachel[/name_f]
[name_u]Remy[/name_u] and [name_f]Chloe[/name_f]
[name_u]Remy[/name_u] and [name_f]Sally[/name_f]
[name_u]Remy[/name_u] and [name_u]Halle[/name_u]
[name_u]Remy[/name_u] and [name_u]Brooke[/name_u]
[name_u]Remy[/name_u] and [name_f]Maggie[/name_f]
[name_u]Remy[/name_u] and [name_f]Jennifer[/name_f]
[name_u]Remy[/name_u] and [name_f]Layla[/name_f]
Good luck!
I love all three of those names! I think all go well with [name_u]Remy[/name_u], but maybe [name_f]Leonie[/name_f] a bit less than [name_f]Clara[/name_f] and [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f]. [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] is in my top four and currently (depends on the week!) first. It is perfection in my opinion! I think it’s perfect with [name_u]Remy[/name_u]. They are both strong and sophisticated but so down to earth and carefree at the same time! All three names are lovely, but i would pick [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f].
I like [name_f]Clara[/name_f] and [name_u]Remy[/name_u]! (I prefer when the names don’t end in the same sound)
[name_u]Remy[/name_u] and [name_f]Claire[/name_f]
[name_f]Luna[/name_f] and [name_u]Remy[/name_u]
[name_f]Gemma[/name_f] and [name_u]Remy[/name_u]
[name_u]Remy[/name_u] and [name_f]Celia[/name_f]
[name_u]Remy[/name_u] and [name_f]Ava[/name_f]
First of all, I love that you named your son [name_u]Remy[/name_u]! That being said, I prefer [name_f]Clara[/name_f] and [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] for you. [name_f]Clara[/name_f] because it ends differently from [name_u]Remy[/name_u] and nowhere in the world you would have problems with it. [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] because it shares the same cute, fresh and sunny vibe as [name_u]Remy[/name_u].
I personally love [name_f]Leonie[/name_f], but somehow I think it’s sound and syllable count are a tad similar to your son’s name. N and M can often sound similar in speech and they both have the same “eh” sound in the first syllable.
[name_m]Just[/name_m] something to think about… but really you cannot go wrong!
[name_u]Remy[/name_u] and [name_f]Clara[/name_f] are supercute.
[name_u]Remy[/name_u] and [name_f]Sabine[/name_f]
[name_u]Remy[/name_u] and [name_f]Gwen[/name_f]
[name_u]Remy[/name_u] and [name_f]Nora[/name_f]
[name_u]Remy[/name_u] and [name_f]Laura[/name_f]
[name_u]Remy[/name_u] and [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f]
[name_u]Remy[/name_u] and [name_f]Daphne[/name_f]
[name_u]Remy[/name_u] and [name_f]Jasmine[/name_f]
[name_u]Remy[/name_u] and [name_f]Lucy[/name_f]
[name_u]Remy[/name_u] and [name_f]Odette[/name_f]
[name_u]Remy[/name_u] and [name_f]Juliet[/name_f]
[name_u]Remy[/name_u] and [name_f]Winifred[/name_f]
[name_u]Remy[/name_u] and [name_f]Giselle[/name_f]
[name_f]Clara[/name_f] is perfect with [name_u]Remy[/name_u]. I also like [name_f]Leonie[/name_f] and [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] but [name_f]Clara[/name_f] stands out.
[name_f]Claire[/name_f] is another good option and I like both [name_f]Louise[/name_f] and [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] with [name_u]Remy[/name_u].
Thank you! He is [name_u]Remy[/name_u] [name_m]Alexander[/name_m]
Great insight! We would pronounce [name_f]Leonie[/name_f] - ‘lee-ownie’, however I agree that it doesn’t flow as well with [name_u]Remy[/name_u] as the other options for sure.
