[name_f]My[/name_f] sister & I both share names that end in [name_u]Anne[/name_u], [name_f]Suzanne[/name_f] and [name_u]Julianne[/name_u]. I would like to eventually share that with a future daughter. Our problem is we can’t find any names we truly love that end in anne. If we had a baby girl today her name would be [name_f]Winslet[/name_f] [name_f]Isla[/name_f] to give you an idea of what names we like. We’ve also thought about Elysienne but that doesn’t fully meet the criteria! What names would you suggest?
Maybe you could use an -anne name or just Anne as a middle? Winslet Anne sounds very classy!
You may also like Marianne, Georgianne (maybe too close to Julianne?), Roxanne, Sanne (pronounced san-ah), Vianne. Or I think it would be a cool and innovative thing if you used a name starting with Anne-, like Annelise, Annemarie, Anniston, Annelie, etc.
Also, if names ending in -an instead of -anne count, maybe Madigan, Morrigan, Marian, Rowan.
I would recommend using the advanced search on Nameberry to search for girls name that end in “anne”. Some of my favorites:
[name_f]Arianne[/name_f]
[name_f]Brianne[/name_f]
Brookanne
[name_f]Corrianne[/name_f]
[name_f]Elianne[/name_f]
[name_f]Josianne[/name_f]
[name_f]Laurianne[/name_f]
[name_f]Marianne[/name_f]
[name_f]Lilianne[/name_f]
[name_f]Morganne[/name_f] (only if you’d pronounce it mor-GANN. This doesn’t work well as an alternate spelling for [name_u]Morgan[/name_u], based on the experience of a former classmate)
You could also adapt the tradition for the next generation to be slightly different. Maybe end all names in -anna?
[name_f]Vivianne[/name_f]
[name_f]Marianne[/name_f]
[name_f]Roxanne[/name_f]
[name_f]Arianne[/name_f]
[name_f]Roseanne[/name_f]
[name_f]Adrianne[/name_f]
[name_u]Jeanne[/name_u]
[name_f]Diane[/name_f]
[name_f]Lillian[/name_f] / [name_f]Lillianne[/name_f]
[name_f]Orianne[/name_f]
[name_f]Georgianne[/name_f]
Hazelanne
[name_f]Maryanne[/name_f]
[name_f]Kinda[/name_f] Loving [name_f]Roxanne[/name_f] for you !!
[name_f]Edie[/name_f] -Anne
[name_f]Alanna[/name_f]
[name_f]Janna[/name_f]
Tommy-anne
[name_f]Elianne[/name_f]
[name_f]Roxanne[/name_f]
[name_f]Ruthanne[/name_f]
[name_f]Jordanne[/name_f]
Carlanne
[name_f]Brianne[/name_f]
[name_f]Marianne[/name_f]
Ruanne
[name_f]Luanne[/name_f]
I’d probably use [name_f]Winslet[/name_f] and then an -anne middle name if you can’t find one you love
[name_f]Arianne[/name_f]
[name_f]Brianne[/name_f]
[name_f]Christianne[/name_f]
[name_f]Dianne[/name_f]
Florianne
[name_f]Joanne[/name_f]
[name_f]Lilianne[/name_f]
[name_f]Marianne[/name_f]
[name_f]Orianne[/name_f]
[name_f]Roxanne[/name_f]
[name_f]Sylvianne[/name_f]
[name_f]Vianne[/name_f]
[name_f]Vivianne[/name_f]
[name_f]Lilianne[/name_f]
Lucianne
[name_f]Marianne[/name_f]
[name_u]Jeanne[/name_u]
[name_f]Georgianne[/name_f]
I’ll also recommend [name_f]Winslet[/name_f] [name_u]Anne[/name_u] or adapt the tradition to be “anna”, “annah”, or “enne”, like [name_f]Brianna[/name_f], Hosannah, or Lilienne!
i kinda like the idea of [name_f]Winslet[/name_f] Isla-Anne! i love the sound of it
