Looking for input on a name for our 3rd child, a baby girl, due in [name_f]April[/name_f]. ([name_f]April[/name_f] 20, [name_f]Easter[/name_f] [name_f]Sunday[/name_f] to be exact!) For the most part, I tend to favor vintage names, preferably outside of the Top 100, really would prefer to avoid the Top 20 all together.(Although you will see with my list, a few of my own choices break my rules!!) I also tend to be more partial to 6-letter babes, although this is also not a deal breaker. (My husband, myself and both of our kids have 6 letter names…)
Our 8 1/2 year old daughter is [name_f]Alaina[/name_f] [name_f]Ann[/name_f] ([name_f]Ann[/name_f] is a namesake after my [name_f]MIL[/name_f]'s middle name.)
Our 5 year old son is [name_m]Graham[/name_m] [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] ([name_m]Thomas[/name_m] is my husband’s first name, and his father’s first name.)
My grandmothers are [name_u]June[/name_u] [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] and [name_f]Anita[/name_f] [name_f]Marie[/name_f]. I would really like to incorporate both of them in our baby girl’s name. My mother and I both share a [name_f]Marie[/name_f] middle name with my grandma, so I am hoping to use [name_u]June[/name_u]-[name_f]Marie[/name_f] as a middle name.
Also, one of my great grandmothers, whom I was very close with before her passing, was born [name_f]Aida[/name_f] (she went by [name_f]Edith[/name_f] for most of her life). I’m not in love with either name, however, because of her, [name_f]Easter[/name_f] holds a certain special significance with my family. I do not think it is anything less than a sign that we are expecting a surprise visit from the stork at Eastertime!
This is MY long list as of right now. Currently my husband only likes [name_f]Estella[/name_f], [name_f]Emelia[/name_f] and [name_f]Kate[/name_f]. (My son’s name was my favorite choice off the bat but I couldn’t get him on board until about 4 weeks until he was born.)
