Girl names to honor Bradley?

Can anyone think of some girl names that could be used to honor [name_u]Bradley[/name_u]? We’ve come up with nothing! :frowning:

[name_u]Hadley[/name_u] came to mind.

What about [name_u]Hadley[/name_u]?

I don’t like [name_u]Hadley[/name_u], sorry! :frowning:

[name_m]Adler[/name_m], perhaps?

[name_m]Adler[/name_m] doesn’t seem like a girl name to me, sorry! :frowning: I definitley want a girl name, not a unisex or boy name

[name_u]Bradley[/name_u] means ‘wide meadow’, so any name meaning ‘meadow’ could work, like:
[name_u]Ainsley[/name_u]
[name_u]Ashley[/name_u]
[name_u]Brinley[/name_u]
[name_u]Marley[/name_u]
[name_u]Waverly[/name_u]

Any name starting with Br- could work as well.

What about… brinley? Not my style but closest one I could think of. Or [name_u]Ainsley[/name_u]. I think it had a similar meaning to [name_u]Bradley[/name_u]. Maybe instead you can use the same initials as the [name_u]Bradley[/name_u] you would like to honor?

Hmm some of these may be a stretch but I’ll try
[name_f]Braylee[/name_f]/Brayleigh
[name_f]Brandi[/name_f]/[name_f]Brandy[/name_f]
[name_u]Brae[/name_u]/[name_u]Bray[/name_u]
[name_f]Braelynn[/name_f]
[name_f]Adeline[/name_f]
[name_f]Adelaide[/name_f]
[name_f]Adalee[/name_f]/Adaleigh
[name_f]Ada[/name_f]
[name_u]Leigh[/name_u]
[name_u]Brinley[/name_u]

You could also use [name_u]Bradley[/name_u]'s meaning (meadow) and use a name with the same meaning
[name_u]Ainsley[/name_u]
[name_u]Ashley[/name_u]
[name_f]Hallie[/name_f]
[name_u]Marley[/name_u]
[name_u]Waverly[/name_u]
I think that [name_u]Bradley[/name_u] may unfortunately just be a name without a female equivalent. Maybe you could use the honoree’s middle or last name instead?

You could use the same initials, or work from his middle name.

I like the idea of using a name with a similar/same meaning! Sadly, I’m not loving any of those :frowning: (Though many would be my husband’s style, he’s more into the trendy names, a lot of them ending with the “lee” sound).

Besides [name_u]Brinley[/name_u] (can’t use), [name_f]Brenna[/name_f] (can’t use), and [name_f]Brenda[/name_f] (don’t like); what are some other Br- names? I’m liking that idea as well, though I feel that some may not give that “honoring” feeling but it’s worth a shot!! The only problem with using initials is that we already have two middle names picked out because they have family importance and neither start with the same letter as [name_m]Brad[/name_m]'s middle name

I really don’t like the look of misspelled names or names with excessive Y’s, I’s, and E’s in them; sorry :frowning: I like [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] and [name_f]Ada[/name_f], though I don’t really see how either relate to [name_u]Bradley[/name_u]. I like [name_f]Hallie[/name_f]/[name_u]Halle[/name_u] as well.

His middle name, unfortunately, would be even worse to work with and I know of a few names that could connect to his last name, however they’re really not my style. And we can’t use his initials because we have two middle names picked out (family importance) and neither start with the same letter as his middle name

Could the [name_u]Bradley[/name_u] who is being honored maybe help select the name?

Other Br- names

[name_f]Britney[/name_f]
[name_f]Brianna[/name_f]
[name_f]Brynn[/name_f]
[name_f]Briar[/name_f]
[name_f]Bree[/name_f]

[name_f]Briar[/name_f]
[name_f]Branwen[/name_f]
[name_u]Brooke[/name_u]
[name_f]Bryony[/name_f]
[name_f]Brianna[/name_f]
[name_f]Bridget[/name_f]

I could see [name_f]Bernadette[/name_f] working, too.

I also like the idea of [name_f]Meadow[/name_f]. [name_u]Yardley[/name_u] would be cute, too, though a little unusual.

I like [name_f]Bridget[/name_f]!

Has anyone suggested [name_u]Leighton[/name_u] yet? It means meadow town and could be a nice option.
