What names come to mind when you think of teenage girls that don’t care what anyone thinks of them? They’re the ones that sip milkshakes after school, wear their hair in tall pony tails, and roll up their skirts. They’re the ones who will protect each other with their lives, and if you hurt one of them, you’re dead. They’re cheerleaders, flying and flipping through the air in a graceful, deadly dance. They cry in the bathroom where no one can see them and have faces made from stone the rest of the day. They are popular, but they are feared. Not mean, but distant. Cold. They rule the school, and no one knows why.
Sorry that was a bit long, but I sort of wanted to capture the feel of these girls so you could guess the type of names I’m looking for, I guess. I’d like these names to be realistic, but not mega-popular like [name_u]Madison[/name_u] or [name_f]Alison[/name_f]. When I imagine a character like this, I think of a longish name that’s been shortened, like [name_f]Marceline[/name_f] shortened to [name_f]Marcy[/name_f].

When I read “Suburban Gothic” I instantly thought of the name [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f]. Based on the names you gave I’m not sure if it quite fits but I feel like [name_f]Sera[/name_f]/[name_f]Sara[/name_f]/[name_f]Sarah[/name_f] would work as an alternative.
I like the name [name_f]Celeste[/name_f], or maybe [name_f]Celestina[/name_f] who goes by [name_f]Celeste[/name_f] because she hates the full name.
[name_f]Celeste[/name_f] also makes me think of [name_f]Corinne[/name_f] or [name_f]Corinna[/name_f]
Continuing on with all the C names, I thought of [name_f]Candy[/name_f]/[name_f]Candice[/name_f] which definitely gives me the cheerleader vibe.
