Came across this list: Girl Names With Gravity | Nameberry
The thread that inspired it was active in 2012/2013, so I’m wondering if the list could be updated? What names would you add to the list? I really enjoy this style of names.

Hmm, not quite sure I completely get the idea, but I’d add [name_f]Louise[/name_f] to that list.
[name_f]Cinderella[/name_f], [name_f]Cleopatra[/name_f], [name_f]Delilah[/name_f], [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f], [name_f]Guinevere[/name_f], [name_f]Jezebel[/name_f], [name_f]Marie[/name_f] [name_f]Antoinette[/name_f], [name_f]Rapunzel[/name_f], Sacagawea, [name_f]Victoria[/name_f]
{“impressive historical personages, real and imagined”}
Interesting how subjective this is isn’t it - as I think [name_f]Louise[/name_f] is a name with very little gravity. I agree with Appollonia’s list except for [name_f]Delilah[/name_f] which feels very light and flighty to me. Maybe classics with strong sounds? eg [name_f]Frances[/name_f], [name_f]Bridget[/name_f], [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]?
Of Appollonia’s list, the ones that feel the “weightiest” to me are:
[name_f]Agnes[/name_f]
[name_f]Edith[/name_f]
[name_f]Beatrice[/name_f]
[name_f]Frances[/name_f]
[name_f]Guinevere[/name_f]
[name_f]Helen[/name_f]
[name_f]Minerva[/name_f]
[name_f]Lydia[/name_f]
[name_m]Just[/name_m] for fun-- based on the top 50 names on nameberry right now, I would add
[name_f]Orla[/name_f]
[name_f]Alma[/name_f]
[name_f]Andromeda[/name_f]
