[name]Ayla[/name] is really two names - the one beginning with a long A and the one beginning with a long I. Which are you thinking of? One’s Hebrew, one’s Turkish, can’t remember which. Either one you use, you’ll have to constantly correct.

I’m always cautious about liking similar-sounding unrelated names, though I admit I do it often. [name]Suraya[/name]'s a tentative favorite of mine, assuming I’m correct that it’s pronounced soor-[long A]-a and is Persian for Pleiades.
