Girl Names

[name_m]Hi[/name_m] all can I get opinions on names. These sound alike but I want a uncommon name these are some I like.

Azariyah Lareigh
Neriyah
Zayanna
[name_f]Zaniyah[/name_f]

I’m not 100% sure of how to pronounce any of those… I think [name_u]Neriah[/name_u] is one of them.

[name_f]Do[/name_f] you think some simpler spellings would help? otherwise people will be very unsure of how to pronounce your child’s name.

[name_u]Azariah[/name_u]
[name_f]Nereida[/name_f]
[name_f]Xanthe[/name_f]

[name_f]Aliyah[/name_f]
[name_f]Zara[/name_f]
[name_f]Zinnia[/name_f]
Keziah

[name_f]Zosia[/name_f] (pronounced zo-cha)

Azariyah- azariah from bible
Neriyah- neriah from bible
Za’niyah like azariah
Zay’anna

Likes? Any middle name suggestions to go with these? I’m due on [name_f]Sunday[/name_f] can’t decide please help.

The abundance of Y’s, I’s and H’s here is what brings all of the names down for me, as I find the letters tend to smother the other letters and make the names look cluttered and heavy. That said, I know a lot of Hebrew/Biblical names historically have Y/H’s in them…

Azriyah: I would very much prefer [name_u]Azariah[/name_u] (though I do believe this is used on several males in the Bible, so I’m not sure I like it so much on a girl - it does sound fairly feminine though I suppose).
Neriyah: I’d prefer [name_u]Neriah[/name_u], however again, it’s historically a male name…again too though, it does sound somewhat feminine…
[name_f]Zaniyah[/name_f]: I like some of the sounds, but not all together. [name_f]Zenia[/name_f] would be nice, of in Biblical terms, [name_f]Zipporah[/name_f] or Zibiah.
Zayanna: Not liking the Z, Y, and N’s all together. Zayana wouldn’t be too bad, I suppose…or [name_f]Zayna[/name_f]/[name_f]Zaina[/name_f].

That said, you seem pretty set on these four names with these four spellings, so if that’s the case, I would go for [name_f]Zaniyah[/name_f] due to the fact that I seem to like the sounds in that name more than the others and also don’t find it as harsh to look at.

Best of luck to you.

Perhaps [name_f]Nerida[/name_f]?

Azariyah [name_f]Sun[/name_f]
Azariyah [name_m]Rafi[/name_m]
Azariyah [name_f]Roz[/name_f]

Azariyah Lareigh - Azaria/Azariah is all boy to me. I like it on boys. Lareigh is, I hope, not actually Larry? Azaria Larry is not a good thing to do to a girl.

Neriyah - meaning ‘the L-rd is my lamp’ relates to Liora ‘My light’ which I’ve always liked more.

You might like these legitimate but uncommon names:
Zakiyya or Zakiya or Zakia - all real spellings. Means ‘pure.’ Pretty.
Ketzia or Qetsiyah - means ‘cinnamon.’ I’ve often leaned towards Ketzia so I could use Kitty as a nickname, but Qetsiyah is more striking if you like uncommon spellings. A Biblical name.
Zahava/Zehava - Means ‘gold.’ One of my mother’s names.
Xanthe
Xylia
Lucasta ‘pure light’
Leocadia - ‘Clear, bright’
Azalea
Aviva
Aaliyah
Araceli
Ayala
Zahara
Zuzana
Tzippora
Zelda
Zia
Tzvia or Zvia

I’m not set on these names I just like them was thinking maybe

Ezriyah instead of azariyah
Or Alyana, [name_f]Eliana[/name_f]
Or maybe zariyah

Overall I like different names spelled differently but am open to suggestions for girl names.

[name_u]Ainsley[/name_u]
[name_f]Calla[/name_f]
[name_f]Eulalie[/name_f]
[name_f]Eunice[/name_f]
[name_f]Fiorella[/name_f]
[name_f]Florette[/name_f]
[name_f]Valeska[/name_f]
Vellia
[name_f]Zadie[/name_f]
[name_f]Zara[/name_f]
[name_f]Zora[/name_f]

I like Eliezra and Ezriela?

[name_f]Eliana[/name_f] is pretty, as is [name_f]Azaria[/name_f] (uh-zair-ee-uh). [name_u]Azariah[/name_u] is pronounced az-uh-rye-uh. I just wanted to make sure you realized that.

[name_f]Susan[/name_f]

I love [name_f]Eliana[/name_f]! Definitely pick that one. It’s so stunning! And I prefer it to the other names you’ve suggested.

Personally, I detest the letter y in names unless it’s at the end or distinctly called for and there’s no other way to spell the name.

[name_m]How[/name_m] about Zaaria? That’s a really unique spelling of a beautiful name! I also think you might like [name_f]Azalea[/name_f]! So beautiful!

Please don’t name your daughter Ezriyah or Azariyah or [name_f]Zariyah[/name_f]. So many beautiful names, these just aren’t as nice. Please don’t go with Lareigh. [name_m]Larry[/name_m] is awful, even on a boy (no offence to anyone).[name_m]How[/name_m] about [name_f]Eliana[/name_f] [name_u]Leigh[/name_u]? That’s a stunning name!

Sorry I can’t pronounce any of these names! [name_m]How[/name_m] about using some more simple uncommon girl names?

My favourites are Neriyah and Zayanna.

Some middle names that might work:

[name_f]Leila[/name_f]
Liore
[name_u]Leone[/name_u], [name_f]Leonie[/name_f]
[name_f]Adira[/name_f]
[name_f]Delphine[/name_f]
[name_f]Daphne[/name_f]
[name_f]Noemie[/name_f]
[name_f]Saphira[/name_f]
[name_f]Selima[/name_f]
[name_u]Simone[/name_u]
[name_f]Rimona[/name_f]
[name_f]Rina[/name_f]
[name_f]Talia[/name_f]
[name_f]Tivona[/name_f]
[name_f]Tirza[/name_f]

I love [name_f]Eliana[/name_f]! The rest I cannot pronounce and I am 100% sure that no one else will ever be able to. Your girl will go through her entire life spelling her name for everyone and pronouncing it for everyone. What about some simpler uncommon names? You can have uncommon names without so many unnecessary extra letters that just muddle understanding.

Try:
[name_f]Isannah[/name_f]
Allyria
Cassana
[name_f]Chiara[/name_f]
Cyrena
Delena
Dreama
[name_f]Elysia[/name_f]
[name_f]Gaia[/name_f]/[name_f]Gaya[/name_f]
[name_f]Galilee[/name_f]
[name_f]Italia[/name_f]
[name_f]Izara[/name_f]
[name_f]Jaya[/name_f]
[name_f]Joslin[/name_f]
[name_f]Kaena[/name_f]
[name_f]Kairi[/name_f]
[name_f]Kaisa[/name_f]
[name_f]Kanya[/name_f]
[name_f]Keziah[/name_f]
[name_f]Mabyn[/name_f]
[name_f]Rhya[/name_f]
[name_f]Rohanna[/name_f]
[name_m]Rooney[/name_m]
[name_f]Roslin[/name_f]
[name_f]Sabelle[/name_f]
[name_f]Saskia[/name_f]
[name_f]Senta[/name_f]
[name_f]Soleil[/name_f]
[name_f]Sunniva[/name_f]
[name_f]Rhya[/name_f]
[name_f]Rohanna[/name_f]
[name_u]Tierney[/name_u]
[name_f]Tuesday[/name_f]
[name_f]Xanthe[/name_f]
Xaria
[name_f]Zahara[/name_f]
[name_u]Zephyr[/name_u]
[name_f]Zadie[/name_f]
[name_f]Zuzanna[/name_f]

I like Neriyah the best, but spelled the biblical way. Spelling an already different/uncommon name in a different way will make it hard for other people to pronounce. That will become frustrating for you daughter and you having to spell and pronounce her name all of the time. I would go with a legitimate name with the original spelling.

[name_f]Azaria[/name_f] and [name_u]Azariah[/name_u] are like [name_f]Susanna[/name_f] and [name_f]Susannah[/name_f] or [name_f]Kelila[/name_f] and [name_f]Kelilah[/name_f]. They are the same name. [name_u]Azariah[/name_u] is uh-zair-ee-uh in Hebrew. I just wanted to make sure you realized that.
