Girls Middle names

What are some of your favorite middle names for girls? I am looking for some more to use. Popularity and unisexuality doesn’t matter.

We’ve always used “runner up” names for our girls’ middle names. Names that I might have still used as a first, if that makes sense? I am more interested in how they flow and how much I love the name than anything else. For instance my oldest daughter has [name_f]Freya[/name_f] [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] as middles and my littlest has [name_f]Anya[/name_f] [name_f]Elizaveta[/name_f]. I could easily have seen these as their first names if I had enough babies! [name_u]Future[/name_u] babies might have had [name_f]Violet[/name_f] [name_f]Elena[/name_f] in the middle and/or [name_f]Isla[/name_f] [name_f]Guinevere[/name_f]. Sometimes I like to mix a more classic name with something a bit trendier or more exotic (except for [name_f]Anya[/name_f] [name_f]Elizaveta[/name_f], when I thought “last baby!” and just went all in!)

Typically I like names like [name_f]Violet[/name_f], [name_f]Juliet[/name_f], [name_f]Daisy[/name_f], [name_f]Belle[/name_f], [name_f]Rose[/name_f], [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f], [name_f]Guinevere[/name_f], [name_f]Lilith[/name_f] to kind of “balance” the -a ending names. I considered them all for my last baby before just choosing what I loved most. I also like pairing names like [name_f]Freya[/name_f], [name_f]Guinevere[/name_f], [name_f]Aurora[/name_f], [name_f]Persephone[/name_f], [name_f]Lilith[/name_f], etc. that I might not use as a first as they are so exotic in my sibset with those more classic middles as well.

I would always choose what you love above all else. Flow is important, honouring loved ones might be important too, but there are only so many chances to use the names you love. So if you can make them work as middles, go for it! They don’t have to be “strictly middle name material” or something you feel is filler or anything like that. Anything goes!

my favourite middles are usually short word names, or something along those lines. see:

[name_f]Aura[/name_f]
[name_f]Bee[/name_f]
[name_f]Fleur[/name_f]
[name_f]Honey[/name_f]
[name_u]Love[/name_u]
[name_f]Muse[/name_f]
[name_f]Plum[/name_f]
[name_f]Sunday[/name_f]

i also like using honour names in the middle, and usually these are more vintage (e.g. [name_f]Noelle[/name_f] and Audrey). sometimes i like using frilly or elaborate names in the middle with a more classic first (or vice versa). i think it really just depends on your style and what names fit together!
