Girls names to go with really LONG last name

We are TTC and have several boys names that we really like, but can’t come up with any girls’ names that we love and that work with our long [name]German[/name] last name, 4 syllables, ending in -berger. I would really prefer to use a unisex name, as I have a unisex name and have always loved it. Otherwise I tend to like what I consider Southern spunky names. Names I like but I am not sure about
[name]Rowan[/name] ([name]LOVE[/name] this but dh not sure and also it is too similar to use with one of the boys’ names we have picked)
[name]Ashton[/name] (I really like but dh says reminds him of [name]Ashton[/name] Kucher)
[name]Teagan[/name] (really like but TP initals make me nervous, our last name begins with P)

[name]Non[/name]-unisex names I like
[name]Tessa[/name] (again, tp initials)
[name]Annika[/name] (too [name]German[/name]?)

For middle names we will use a family-inspired name. Options include:
[name]True[/name] ([name]Gertrude[/name])
Looking forward to hearing your thoughts/suggestions!

[name]Hi[/name]! My favorites from your list is [name]Lucy[/name] [name]Caroline[/name]! (I also think that [name]Lucy[/name] [name]Jean[/name] is adorable…) From that list, you may also like [name]Tessa[/name] [name]Caroline[/name] or [name]Tessa[/name] [name]June[/name]. I also really love [name]Anya[/name] [name]Caroline[/name] and [name]Annika[/name] [name]June[/name]/[name]Mae[/name]/[name]Jean[/name].

I don’t know if you love them enough to use them as first names, but I love [name]Anne[/name] and [name]Anna[/name], and I think they’d sound great with your last name! You could go with [name]Anna[/name] [name]Caroline[/name] or [name]Anne[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name].

From the unisex list, [name]Quinn[/name] is my favorite, but I don’t think it works very well with the potential middles you’ve listed. Hmm…(I’d personally avoid [name]Quinn[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name], which sounds close to [name]Queen[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name].) I also really like [name]Rowan[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] and [name]Ellery[/name] [name]Mae[/name]. (I’m half asleep and rambling, but with [name]Hadley[/name], I love [name]Hadley[/name] [name]Caroline[/name], [name]Hadley[/name] [name]June[/name], and [name]Hadley[/name] [name]Jean[/name] the most.)

I’m not sure if you’re still looking, but some more names you may like:

Names that have a Southern feel to me:

[name]Belle[/name] (plus, it’s short, which sounds like it’s a plus with your last name)
[name]Delilah[/name] (definitely not short)

Other shorter names you may like with your last name:

You may also like:

[name]Lily[/name] (really popular, though…)

I love the shorter first names (one or two syllables) the most with your last name, but that’s just me.

Good luck!

Thanks [name]Jill[/name] for all the suggestions! I like [name]Lucy[/name] [name]Caroline[/name] a lot, but not sure how I feel about [name]Lucy[/name] on an adult…somehow seems not mature or elegant enough. [name]Tessa[/name] [name]Caroline[/name] is great, and I [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Annika[/name] [name]June[/name]. While I love [name]Annika[/name] and [name]Anya[/name], I wouldn’t use [name]Anne[/name] or [name]Anna[/name] as first names as my husband’s ex-girlfriend was [name]Anna[/name] and [name]Anne[/name] to me seems too plain. I also [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Rowan[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name]…what about [name]Rowan[/name] [name]Eliza[/name]? I like your suggestion of [name]Delilah[/name] but agree it is too long. I also love the name [name]Evangeline[/name], but I think it is too much with the last name. From your suggestions the other ones I like are [name]Bellamy[/name], [name]Auden[/name], [name]Linden[/name], [name]Mae[/name], and [name]Clara[/name]. What do people think of these combos?

[name]Lucy[/name] [name]Caroline[/name] --berger (think Roethlisberger :))
[name]Tessa[/name] [name]Jean[/name] --berger
[name]Rowan[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] or [name]Rowan[/name] [name]Eliza[/name] --berger
[name]Annika[/name] [name]June[/name] --berger
[name]Anya[/name] [name]Caroline[/name] --berger
[name]Hadley[/name] [name]Caroline[/name] or [name]Hadley[/name] [name]Carolina[/name] --berger
[name]Ellery[/name] [name]Mae[/name] --berger
[name]Mae[/name] [name]Caroline[/name] --berger
[name]Bellamy[/name] [name]June[/name] --berger
[name]Auden[/name] [name]Mae[/name] --berger
[name]Clara[/name] [name]Jean[/name] --berger

Congratulations on your baby girl! The one name that really seems to stay with me is [name]Rowan[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name]. [name]Don[/name]'t stress too much about having a short name! I have a long last name (10 letters) and we named our son [name]Zachary[/name] [name]Samuel[/name]. It flows wonderfully. Took a bit to teach him how to spell all of it but it sure was a bit accomplishment when he did!!!
