[name_m]Hi[/name_m] am 6 months pregnant and really struggling with girls names . I already have a two girls called [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] and [name_f]Dorothy[/name_f] . Not sure if I should have another D name or go different like [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] or [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] . Any help really appreciated.
[name_f]Daisy[/name_f] and [name_f]Dorothy[/name_f] are lovely names. I think if you did go with another D name that [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] would fit nicely.
Another idea might be to have a name that doesn’t start with a D but has a strong D sound like [name_f]Matilda[/name_f].
Some ideas:
[name_f]Adelaide[/name_f]
[name_f]Bernadette[/name_f]
[name_f]Cordelia[/name_f]
[name_f]Delphine[/name_f]
[name_f]Diana[/name_f]
[name_f]Edith[/name_f]
[name_f]Gwendoline[/name_f]
[name_f]Ingrid[/name_f]
[name_f]Lucinda[/name_f]
[name_f]Madeline[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosamund[/name_f]
[name_f]Sadie[/name_f]
[name_f]Winifred[/name_f]
[name_f]Matilda[/name_f] fits nicely (it shares a d without starting with one).
If you want another D name, I second the suggestion of [name_f]Daphne[/name_f].
[name_u]Or[/name_u] there’s [name_f]Audrey[/name_f], [name_f]Nadia[/name_f], [name_f]Miranda[/name_f], [name_f]Sigrid[/name_f], [name_f]Magdalene[/name_f], [name_f]Astrid[/name_f], [name_f]Caliadne[/name_f], [name_f]Corisande[/name_f], [name_f]Zelda[/name_f]
[name_f]Daisy[/name_f] and [name_f]Dorothy[/name_f] are so lovely! I’d say if you use another D name, you’ve started a pattern that it would be very hard to break if you had another. So I’d say, only pick a D name if there’s one you genuinely love!
[name_f]Matilda[/name_f] and [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] are gorgeous!
Some other ideas:
[name_f]Daisy[/name_f], [name_f]Dorothy[/name_f] and…
[name_f]Eloise[/name_f]
[name_f]Imogen[/name_f]
[name_f]Genevieve[/name_f]
[name_f]Lola[/name_f]
Hattie/Harriet
[name_f]Etta[/name_f]
[name_f]Francesca[/name_f]
[name_f]Anya[/name_f]
[name_f]Lucille[/name_f]
[name_f]Nadia[/name_f]
[name_u]June[/name_u]
[name_f]Felicity[/name_f]
[name_f]Amelie[/name_f]
I love [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] and think it sounds nice with your other kids. I’m not a fan of [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] but it is very popular so that’s definitely just a me thing.
The suggestion of [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] was great.
[name_u]Darcy[/name_u]
[name_u]Delaney[/name_u]
[name_f]Delphine[/name_f]
[name_f]Delilah[/name_f]
[name_f]Diana[/name_f]
[name_f]Danica[/name_f]
[name_f]Danielle[/name_f]
[name_u]Dana[/name_u]
[name_u]Dove[/name_u]
[name_f]Daria[/name_f]
If you wanted to continue a pattern but not do a D name you could go for third name that ends in Y?Audrey
[name_f]Rosemary[/name_f]
[name_f]Felicity[/name_f]
[name_u]Beverly[/name_u]
[name_f]Betty[/name_f]
[name_f]Melody[/name_f]
[name_f]Wendy[/name_f]
[name_f]Sally[/name_f]
[name_f]Jenny[/name_f]
[name_f]Lucy[/name_f]
[name_f]Dinah[/name_f]
[name_f]Della[/name_f]
[name_f]Daphne[/name_f]
[name_f]Delia[/name_f]
[name_f]Delphine[/name_f]
[name_f]Dahlia[/name_f]
[name_f]Adelaide[/name_f]
[name_f]Eleanor[/name_f]
[name_f]Harriet[/name_f]
[name_f]Henrietta[/name_f]
[name_f]Evangeline[/name_f]
[name_u]Florence[/name_u]
Daisy & Dorothy — how sweet! I love those names as sisters.
I think that depends on whether or not you plan to have more than three children. If you don’t, then you may want to stick to the pattern you’ve created, so that one sister doesn’t end up feeling like the odd one out. If you do plan on having more, then I think now is definitely the time to break the pattern!
You might consider keeping the ends-in-y theme, instead of the starts-with-D theme, if you’re still not sure.
Matilda & Penelope both work well in your set!
I’d also suggest these:
Diana
Daphne
Dinah
Audrey
Betty
Felicity
Lucy
Molly
Rosemary
Ruby
Alice
Annie
Beatrix
Eloise
Florence
Harriet
Mabel
Phoebe
Winnie
[name_f]Daisy[/name_f] and [name_f]Dorothy[/name_f] are very nice
For another D name…
[name_f]Delia[/name_f]
[name_f]Delilah[/name_f]
[name_f]Dahlia[/name_f]
[name_f]Della[/name_f]
[name_f]Daria[/name_f]
[name_f]Danica[/name_f]
For another letter…
[name_f]Adela[/name_f]
[name_u]Eden[/name_u]
[name_f]Adeline[/name_f]
[name_f]Caroline[/name_f]
[name_f]Daisy[/name_f] and [name_f]Dorothy[/name_f] are great names! If you want another D name [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] fits well. [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] [name_f]Dorothy[/name_f] and [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] are a great combo too.
I love [name_f]Della[/name_f] with [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] & [name_f]Dorothy[/name_f]. Why not?
But if you’re struggling because you feel like you should use another D name, but you really don’t want to, I would skip it and choose a name you genuinely love regardless of the first letter. Listen to your gut instinct and you’ll end up with the perfect name.
I love Dorothy Daisy & Matilda together, but if it was me I would have to go with another D I love Darcey and also ends with a Y… or Demi is lovely too.
Dorothy Daisy & Darcey
I love [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] & [name_f]Dorothy[/name_f]! That’s adorable.
