Ok so I am having the toughest time with picking out a girls name! Ok,ok, so I have a tough time with finding a boys name as well [hence the similar posting in the boys forum]. But I do think I have a slightly harder time with girls. If I give some criteria, do think you berries would be up to the challange?! Well here it goes…
I like beachy sounding girls names… [name]Caroline[/name] and [name]Marley[/name] for example. I like girly names as well- like [name]Lydia[/name]. For a girls name there MUST be a cute nn if its a longer name. For example, [name]Lydia[/name] could be Lidy or Lils, [name]Caroline[/name] could be [name]Cara[/name] or [name]Callie[/name]. [name]Just[/name] like boys names, I tend to lean towards names with a more classic and timeless feel. I guess what it comes down too is that I want a familiar, classic name that is still layed back and girly. Is that posssible?! Please help!!
[name]Caroline[/name] and [name]Lydia[/name] are stunning!
[name]Lydia[/name] reminds me of [name]Juliet[/name], and [name]Caroline[/name] and [name]Lydia[/name] combined remind me of [name]Adelaide[/name]. I have trouble thinking of another classic name with the same relaxed, roll-off-the-tongue feel as [name]Caroline[/name] (I think it’s hard to rival such a great name), but I shall be sure to post again if I do.
You might also like [name]Ivy[/name] and [name]Harriet[/name] “[name]Hattie[/name]/[name]Etta[/name]/[name]Harri[/name]”.
Thanks girls! I really like [name]Adelaide[/name], nn [name]Addie[/name]. But [name]Adelaide[/name] kind of seems like a mouthfull. [name]Do[/name] you know any other names that could get the nn [name]Addie[/name]? I dont like [name]Addison[/name] or [name]Adeline[/name]. I also liked [name]Clara[/name], but it reminds me a little of an old lady? wonderful suggestions so far though!
Well, [name]Adele[/name]/[name]Adell[/name]/[name]Adela[/name] could give you “[name]Addie[/name]” as could Adalena. I’m not sure those feel as laid back as the other choices though
If [name]Clara[/name] feels old there is also [name]Claribel[/name].
