We are expecting our 2nd and I was hoping to keep a theme going with the names. My daughter’s name is [name]Starling[/name] [name]Winter[/name].
If it’s a boy the name will be [name]Lincoln[/name] [name]Hawk[/name]. But I can’t find any other birds that I think will sound pretty for a girl. I’m not sure how I feel about [name]Lark[/name] or Skylark or [name]Wren[/name]… Any bird lovers here know of any others for a girl?
It should also sound nice next to our last name, [name]Barrett[/name]. Thanks for any imput!
I love Kestral so much, but I’ve never heard of anybody using it. Good choices so far anyway, [name]Starling[/name] [name]Winter[/name] is beautiful and [name]Lincoln[/name] [name]Hawk[/name] is pretty awesome
I love [name]Lincoln[/name] [name]Hawk[/name] and [name]Starling[/name] [name]Winter[/name]! So pretty.
I love the idea of using bird names since my grandmother is an avid bird-lover. I have considered [name]Lark[/name], [name]Wren[/name], and [name]Sparrow[/name] the most seriously–[name]Wren[/name] being my favorite, followed by [name]Lark[/name]. I really love all three.
I think [name]Paloma[/name] is sweet, too–it’s Spanish for “dove”.
I like [name]Paloma[/name] a lot, it is probably my favorite bird name. But, it isn’t quite as obvious as [name]Starling[/name], I guess because it is not English. Anyway, what about [name]Larkin[/name]? I like it more than just [name]Lark[/name]. I also like [name]Raven[/name].
