I’m looking for a feminine name that might give me the nickname [name]Bryn[/name]. Examples of the type of names I normally like are in my signature. Any ideas?
Brishen… Or just name her [name]Bryn[/name]
You could use [name]Bronwen[/name] or [name]Bronwyn[/name]. I would also suggest [name]Bryanna[/name] or [name]Brianna[/name]. If you really wanted to be modern, you could do [name]Brynlee[/name], Brynzee (infinite).
[name]Bronwyn[/name]/[name]Bronwen[/name] or [name]Bryanna[/name]/[name]Brianna[/name].
If you use the more rounded-out [name]Brynne[/name] spelling, I think it could go well on its own. As a nickname, either [name]Bronwyn[/name]/[name]Branwyn[/name] or [name]Bryony[/name]. There’s also [name]Bryna[/name]/[name]Brynna[/name], [name]Brinley[/name], and [name]Bryana[/name].
As more of a stretch, maybe for [name]Berenice[/name].
What about Brynleigh?
Thank you everyone! [name]Bronwen[/name] is certainly a possibility. It has a softness to it that I like.
I definitely don’t want something like [name]Brynlee[/name] or its ilk. It’s not my style at all. I tend to prefer soft, feminine names like [name]Sophie[/name] or [name]Phoebe[/name] or [name]Susanna[/name] (hence my desire for a longer, softer name to get to [name]Bryn[/name] as a nickname).
So [name]Bronwen[/name] is a definitely possibility for my list. Any other ideas?
I like [name]Bronwen[/name]. What about [name]Sabrina[/name]?
what about [name]Braelyn[/name]? pn [name]BRAY[/name]-lynn. I know a girl named this and she is constantly getting compliments on her name. not sure if it is your style though!
Bryndelle (brin-dull) ?
[name]How[/name] about [name]Sabrina[/name] ([name]Brin[/name])?
I know a Brennyn.
[name]Brenda[/name] could get the nickname [name]Bryn[/name].
It’s a stretch, but [name]Bridget[/name] nn [name]Bryn[/name]?
Probably not what your looking for, but I’ll throw it out. I [name]LOVE[/name] the name [name]Brennan[/name] with [name]Bryn[/name] as a nickname
I also really loved the suggestion of [name]Bryony[/name]/[name]Briony[/name]
I like [name]Bryony[/name] ([name]Bree[/name]-uh-nee), which I had never heard until I read the book (and saw the movie) “Atonement.”
[name]Brenna[/name] or [name]Brianna[/name].
