I vaguely remember someone did something like this before, I think it was @autumn.leaves , so credit to [name_f]Story[/name_f]
Recently I’ve been enjoying one of my favorite hobbies again: collecting perfumes/fragrances. I thought it would be fun to match your names or combos to an (existing) perfume or fragrance.
So give me a name or a combo - just one at a time please - and I’ll give you a perfume with some extra info.
Personally I believe that fragrances have no gender, but if you give me a unisex or gender bending combo, feel free to give me the gender you’d like the perfume to be marketed towards.
She gives me sunny and warm vibes, but she’s also very elegant. I think La [name_f]Tulipe[/name_f] by Byredo fits well with this combo. It’s elegant, feminine and light, with notes of freesia, a bit of rhubarb and fresh vetiver.
[name_f]Iris[/name_f] [name_f]Ariadne[/name_f] makes me think of someone who’s confident and loves a classic scent with a twist. I think Orphéon by Dyptique would be perfect. It’s a nice powdery perfume with notes of juniper, jasmine and tonka bean
[name_f]Juno[/name_f] [name_f]Historia[/name_f] sounds like someone who enjoys arts, is kindhearted but won’t be messed with. I like Tonka 25 by [name_m]Le[/name_m] Labo for her, it’s a sweet scent with tonka bean and vanilla, but also fresh because of the cedar and orange blossom notes.
She sounds like she’s enjoy a good classic perfume, but with a little extra elegance. Penhaligon’s The Favourite would be perfect. violet, mimosa and iris, grounded with a touch of musk and sandalwood
[name_f]Marie[/name_f] [name_f]Fleur[/name_f] would enjoy a cozy and warm perfume, like [name_m]Ode[/name_m] to dullness by [name_f]Juliette[/name_f] has a gun. It has cashmere wood and tonka bean in it, which makes it feel like a nice blanket or soft scarf, but it’s also uplifting because of the star anise.
How fun! I’m actually allergic to perfume, but your descriptions are so lovely! I’d love to see what you come up with for [name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f] [name_f]Joy[/name_f].
This is so cool!! I’ve actually been looking for a new perfume, so I’d love to see what you come up with for my love [name_f]Augusta[/name_f] [name_f]Esme[/name_f] [name_f]Larkspur[/name_f] !!
Ooh, this is so fun! I am just getting into perfumes, but it’s so overwhelming. Could I please see a feminine perfume for for [name_f]Agnes[/name_f] [name_f]Chrysanthemum[/name_f]?
[name_f]Tamar[/name_f] [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] feels playful and grounded at the same time to me. If I remember correctly, [name_f]Tamar[/name_f] is inspired by the river [name_f]Tamar[/name_f]. I think When the rain stops by [name_m]Maison[/name_m] Margiela would suit her well. It smells exactly as the name suggests: watery, green and fresh, with base notes of moss and pine tree, like a forrest after the rain or a foggy morning by the river.
[name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] [name_f]Joy[/name_f] sounds like someone who’d like the classics. She wants to honor her heritage, and loves smells that remind her of carefree times with her grandparents and parents. I think she’d go with [name_m]Chance[/name_m] Eau Tendre by [name_f]Chanel[/name_f] - a lovely soft grapefruit, hyacinth and jasmine scent with a base of musk and amber.
[name_f]Lauren[/name_f] [name_f]Margaux[/name_f] sounds like someone who’s no-nonsense and knows what she wants, but doesn’t like to be the center of attention. I’d give her Musc Noir for her by [name_m]Narciso[/name_m] [name_m]Rodriguez[/name_m]: a gorgeous skin scent with a top note of plum and a lovely musk and suede base.
Thank you!! Yes, you’re right - it is from the [name_m]River[/name_m] [name_f]Tamar[/name_f]! That perfume sounds wonderful - and I can imagine it fitting - even the ‘clean’ simplicity of the bottle and the concept work well!
