[name_m]Just[/name_m] one, please. The one you like best.
Second question, if you had to pick one of these, which one and why?
[name_u]Jade[/name_u]
[name_u]Ruby[/name_u]
[name_f]Opal[/name_f]
[name_f]Pearl[/name_f]
[name_m]Just[/name_m] one, please. The one you like best.
Second question, if you had to pick one of these, which one and why?
[name_u]Jade[/name_u]
[name_u]Ruby[/name_u]
[name_f]Opal[/name_f]
[name_f]Pearl[/name_f]
[name_u]Ruby[/name_u], for both!! It’s such a beautiful name, so wearable and feminine without being overly frilly.
[name_f]Opal[/name_f]! Magical and a bit less common than the others
Ágata (portuguese and spanish version of agate).
From your list: [name_u]Ruby[/name_u]! It’s so pretty!!!
[name_f]Sapphire[/name_f] for both
Of yours, I would go with [name_f]Opal[/name_f]
Opal!! I love vowel names, especially long Os. I just think it’s so…cool?
If I had to rank them, I’d say
[name_f]Opal[/name_f]
[name_f]Pearl[/name_f]
[name_u]Jade[/name_u]
[name_u]Ruby[/name_u]
[name_f]My[/name_f] favourite gemstone name is probably [name_f]Amethyst[/name_f].
From your list I’d choose Opal; it’s my second fave gemstone name. I love the way it has an unusual O sound but is instantly recognisable. I also have too many associations with the other names on your list (having met at least one of each) so [name_f]Opal[/name_f] feels fresher to me as a name.
probably emerald !! but if international variants are allowed, i’ll go for the french emeraude
from your list, i like pearl best, with opal close behind.
[name_f]My[/name_f] favorites are probably [name_f]Amethyst[/name_f], [name_u]Jade[/name_u] and [name_f]Sapphire[/name_f]. I like the sound of [name_f]Crystal[/name_f] too, but it’s sort of a mean girl name lol.
[name_f]My[/name_f] favorite from the ones you listed is [name_u]Jade[/name_u] because I think it sounds really pretty.
I love so many crystal/gemstone names, but if I had to pick a favorite overall and out of your list, I would say [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] for both! It feels so sweet, vintage, and mermaid-esque to me🐚
[name_f]My[/name_f] current favorite is [name_f]Beryl[/name_f]
[name_f]My[/name_f] favorite from your list is [name_f]Opal[/name_f], I think it’s quite elegant and it’s my birthstone!
[name_f]Peridot[/name_f], partially because its my birthstone so I’m a bit biased and partially because Dot/Dottie is an adorable nickname.
Of your options, [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] because its my second favorite by a very narrow margin, I love the color and the sweet, fun vibes.
[name_f]Edit[/name_f]: I’m also a huge for of [name_f]Emerald[/name_f]. I can’t personally use it so I tend to forget about it but it would be tied for my first pick.
I love jade <3
[name_f]Opal[/name_f] is my favorite. Always has been! I think it’s so special and unique—and I’ve always loved that opals come in just about every color. It was a favorite of mine as a child, when I learnt it was my birthstone. 🩷
my favorite is tourmaline !
out of your list, i love opal, it’s both underrated and simple !
[name_f]My[/name_f] favorite is [name_f]Emerald[/name_f]
Out of the others my choice would be [name_u]Ruby[/name_u], because it’s a very close second to [name_f]Emerald[/name_f]
[name_f]My[/name_f] favourites are tied between [name_f]Amethyst[/name_f] and [name_f]Opal[/name_f]. I’ve always had a soft spot for [name_u]Jade[/name_u] too, although it feels very “2000’s mean girl” to me so I’d never use it.
[name_f]Opal[/name_f] is definitely my pick from your list.
[name_f]Opal[/name_f] is my favourite so naturally, I’d pick that from your list! Opals are such beautiful stones - they (along with opalite) have always been my favourite - that blue, those rainbow flickers, the magic. On a personal level, two of the schools I attended used gemstones as class/form names, and I was in ‘Opal’ for both! Also, these are more tenacious links, but my great grandma had a special opal ring, so it reminds me of her a little, and one of my first set of earrings were bought in one of my fave places and were opals, so it reminds me of that too. Beyond that, it’s just a beautiful name - the perfect four letters, the gentle strength and that O sound.
Oh gosh I love so many gemstone names
Currently I would say [name_f]Emerald[/name_f] is my favourite I just love the bejewelling sparkly feel of [name_f]Emerald[/name_f], the rich green colour imagery the name conjures up for me, associations with [name_u]Ireland[/name_u] (honestly [name_f]Emerald[/name_f] is a fab way to honour [name_u]Irish[/name_u] heritage) and the nickname [name_f]Emmy[/name_f] is adorable. On my list I have [name_f]Evie[/name_f] [name_f]Susannah[/name_f] [name_f]Emerald[/name_f].
However both [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] + [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] are gorgeous and feature on my list and I did contemplate them as options for [name_f]Lilia[/name_f]. [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] was a major middle name contender for [name_f]Lilia[/name_f]. [name_f]Opal[/name_f] is also fab. To use just one I would say [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] I just love the sweet, classic feel of her.
[name_f]My[/name_f] favourite is [name_f]Amethyst[/name_f]. They’re my favourite stones and my favourite colour and I’d use it as a middle
From your list, it’s a tie between [name_f]Opal[/name_f] and [name_f]Pearl[/name_f]! Opals are so magical, deep and fiery, I think it’s such a cool name, just the right side of whimsical.
[name_f]Pearl[/name_f] has a real vintage charm, both cottagecore nostalgia and fresh ocean wildness in one.
