I heard this name a few days ago and haven’t stopped thinking about it, so: what do you[name_f][/name_f] think of [name_f]Glynnis[/name_f] / [name_f]Glynis[/name_f] / [name_f]Glenys[/name_f]?
[name_f][/name_f]
To me it sounds reserved (probably because of the -is ending) and old-fashioned, but also soft and dreamy in a way. Almost like [name_f]Fern[/name_f] and [name_f]Estelle[/name_f] and [name_f]Lilias[/name_f].
To me it feels pretty old-fashioned, probably because of the similarity to [name_f]Gladys[/name_f]. However, I do see the soft and dreamy feeling you mention. I feel the same way about names like [name_f]Gladys[/name_f] and [name_f]Myrtle[/name_f] – if I can take them out of their dated cultural context, they have a lovely soft and mystical feeling about them.
[name_m]Sharp[/name_m] but clunky at the same time. A bit like [name_f]Guinevere[/name_f] meets [name_f]Gladys[/name_f].

I think it could[name_f][/name_f] grow on me and [name_f]Glynnis[/name_f] / [name_f]Glynis[/name_f] had an interesting look, but right now, I’m not sure I love it
Feels a bit like [name_m]Glen[/name_m] meets [name_f]Gladys[/name_f], so for that reason, not my favorite, sorry! [name_f][/name_f] Neither of those names feel fresh for revival for me.

Also, now that it’s been said, I’m having a hard time not seeing p*nis too, sorry!!
