I really love names that use an AE spelling and I’m looking for more. I don’t like the spellings where the name is typically spelled differently and then chanced to be spelled with an ae, I like when it feelsmore authentically part of the name
Some examples are:
Faerydae (my fave!!)
[name_m]Daedalus[/name_m]
[name_f]Faeleen[/name_f]
[name_m]Rafaelle[/name_m]
[name_m]Saer[/name_m]
I like Raef, [name_m]Raphael[/name_m]/Raphaela, Faerey (Scottish island name), [name_f]Aerin[/name_f] (as in Lauder), [name_f]Laelia[/name_f], [name_f]Maeve[/name_f]/Maeva, [name_f]Maelys[/name_f] and [name_f]Aeronwy[/name_f]!
I have many, many favourites with ae. Though I mostly spell it as Æ
Here are some from my list:
Ælfflæd
Leofflæd
[name_f]Aemilie[/name_f]
Aemiliana
[name_f]Aeliana[/name_f]
[name_f]Aenor[/name_f]
[name_f]Laelia[/name_f]
[name_f]Maelle[/name_f]
I haven’t read everything, so sorry for any repeats.
Some of those are actually “[name_f]English[/name_f] spellings” for the Icelandic letter - æ - which is not the same as ae, but we can argue about that
