Grace combo

Hello,

If we called our daughter [name_f]Grace[/name_f], the middle name would be [name_f]Anna[/name_f]. I think that [name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] probably sounds better than [name_f]Grace[/name_f] [name_f]Anna[/name_f]. But, is it worth the possible future annoyance to have [name_f]Anna[/name_f] as her first name but call her by her middle name?

Thanks.

They both sound great. I think it depends on the flow with the last name. Lots of people go by their middle names so I wouldn’t worry too much but if it really bothers you, you could try using [name_f]Annalie[/name_f] or [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f].

I think [name_f]Grace[/name_f] [name_f]Anna[/name_f] sounds fine, especially with a surname attached. But if you’re worried, I agree that something like [name_f]Grace[/name_f] [name_f]Annabel[/name_f] or [name_f]Grace[/name_f] [name_f]Anneliese[/name_f] would help with flow a little.

Thanks for the input so far, I appreciate it. [name_f]Anna[/name_f] is a family name so I can’t (shouldn’t) change it.

I think [name_f]Grace[/name_f] [name_f]Anna[/name_f] is beautiful!

I think [name_f]Grace[/name_f] [name_f]Anna[/name_f] and [name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] are both gorgeous. I personally would go with [name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] because I would call her [name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f].

A bit of a FYI. [name_f]Anna[/name_f] does mean “grace”. I am sure the general population does not know this. Personally it does not bother me.

I would go with [name_f]Grace[/name_f] [name_f]Anna[/name_f], the flow is fine and it’s easier to have your first name be the one used.
