I always view it as having a religious connotation. It also feels a bit dated as I knew a lot of Graceā€™s growing up who are now in their 30s and 40s. Iā€™ve seen it used a lot as a middle name as well so I tend to associate it as a middle name used frequently.

I find it a bit bland and harsh, but then itā€™s my name. Objectively, itā€™s okay - simple and classic

Iā€™m a teacher, and there are so many kids named [name_f]Grace[/name_f] and [name_f]Gracie[/name_f].

I prefer [name_m]Merce[/name_m] (pronounced Mair-say) or the Italian [name_f]Grazia[/name_f].

Absolutely love [name_f]Grace[/name_f]!

Sheā€™s sweet, classic, dignified, elegant and timeless. A gorgeous name.

[name_f]Grace[/name_f] is just the definition of ā€œalrightā€ to me ā€“ itā€™s a fine name, and I think the nickname [name_f]Gracie[/name_f] sounds quite cute (tbh I like [name_f]Gracie[/name_f] on its own more) but it just doesnā€™t have much character or personality to me and feels kind of plain?

I love Grace! I like the idea of something short and sweet with her, something with lots of history:

Grace and Eva
Grace and Eve
Grace and Claire
Grace and Mira
Grace and Maria
Grace and Lydia
Grace and Lily
Grace and Katherine
Grace and Lina
Grace and Adele
Grace and Julia
Grace and Lucia
Grace and Pearl
Grace and Cora
Grace and Norah
Grace and Flora
Grace and Winnie
Grace and Tess (or Tessa)
Grace and Nadia
Grace and Viola

ETA: Oops, totally misread what you were looking for :joy::joy:. I do love Grace though! Itā€™s a family name for me, one of my favorite family names. I like Annie names and Grace just about equally, but I donā€™t know that Iā€™ll ever tire of Grace, especially as a first name (she is a little boring as a middle). I donā€™t love Gracie (sheā€™s sweet, but doesnā€™t WOW me), so if I ever had a Grace, Iā€™d probably call her Cici/Cece.

Itā€™s not a favorite but I love how it sounds :sunflower: A sweet classic . Refreshing to see as first name

I like [name_f]Grace[/name_f], but more as a middle.
Itā€™s classic, and yes, I do think there are religious undertones.

I really like [name_f]Grace[/name_f]. Itā€™s simple and classic, but something about that [name_m]Gray[/name_m] sound gives it a little extra flair to me. The connection to divine grace doesnā€™t really appeal to me as a non-religious person, but thereā€™s also the grace of a dancer or grace under pressure that are nice qualities to bestow on a child.

Respectable, classical, boring.

[name_f]Grace[/name_f] is alright. Itā€™s a bit plain and boring, but I do like nn [name_f]Gracie[/name_f] and [name_m]Gray[/name_m]!

I love [name_f]Grace[/name_f] !
I love names that are easy to spell and pronounce and [name_f]Grace[/name_f] fits that perfectly. She is easily recognizable and has positive associations like [name_f]Grace[/name_f] [name_m]Kelly[/name_m]

There were really a lot of them when I was growing up, so it feels kind of boring to me.
But I guess it did work okay on a lot of different types of girls, so thereā€™s that.

I like Gracie though. One of the only names where I like the nickname better on its own.

I prefer [name_f]Graceland[/name_f], [name_f]Gracelynn[/name_f], or [name_f]Graciela[/name_f]

[name_f]Grace[/name_f] is one for my favorites!

I would call [name_f]Grace[/name_f] a ā€˜safeā€™ name. Itā€™s beautiful, calm and graceful. Thereā€™s nothing about it that would negatively impact a baby [name_f]Grace[/name_f] in anyway. The only ā€˜downsideā€™ about [name_f]Grace[/name_f] is it isnā€™t imaginative or creative. However a good name doesnā€™t need to be imaginative and this not everyones style. Itā€™s 100% ok just to like a good solid classic name.
