Another name we’re considering is Grady/Gradie but we don’t know which spelling. We would go with Grady but we prefer the nickname Adie (Aid-ee) over gray which would make us want to spell it Gradie. So basically we’re stuck on if we chose it which way to spell it so any opinion will help massively
I would spell it the simplest way, [name_u]Grady[/name_u]. The -ie spelling makes it read much more “girl” to me, and I think you can spell nicknames however you want without necessarily tying it into the official name.
Echoing the others. [name_u]Grady[/name_u] is recognizable and established. I’d do with that. You can still spell his nickname [name_f]Adie[/name_f] (love that, btw). [name_f]My[/name_f] name is [name_f]Alyssa[/name_f] but my nn is spelled [name_u]Ali[/name_u]. Not a big deal.
I feel like you’d just have to spell his name constantly for people if you call him [name_f]Gradie[/name_f].
[name_u]Grady[/name_u] with nicknames [name_f]Adie[/name_f] is fine. Its ok that the nickname is spelled differently. [name_f]Ady[/name_f] is actually kinda cool in this application.
