They’ve seen more Grants over time but more Grahams in the next decade, teachers.
I know 3 Grants age 25-40 and 3 Grahams age 10-22.
I am sad to say Graham is headed higher up, I’m sure. It’s really gained steam especially on the heels of Grayson’s popularity.
I’ve met several Grahams, but I’ve never met a [name_m]Grant[/name_m], personally I like [name_m]Grant[/name_m] more than [name_m]Graham[/name_m], but I think it’s gonna be at least in the top 100 in a few years
I can think of at least 4 Grants off the top of my head. 3 are my age (early 20s) and one is about 5. I only know one [name_m]Graham[/name_m], and he’s probably in his 40s. [name_m]Grant[/name_m] is more popular in my experience.
I know two of each. The younger ones are Grahams. I don’t think it’s skyrocketing up the charts, but it seems to be a well-used, well-loved name, and steadily climbing. I wouldn’t call it trendy, though.
I know more Grahams than Grants - I think I might have only met one [name_m]Grant[/name_m]. However, all the Grahams I’ve met have been 40+
Still, this is a UK perspective. Looking at the US stats, [name_m]Graham[/name_m] is on an upwards climb, while [name_m]Grant[/name_m] is trending downwards, but [name_m]Grant[/name_m] has been more popular in the past than [name_m]Graham[/name_m], so maybe it feels more popular still?
Could [name_m]Graham[/name_m] move further up the charts though? Possibly. It’s got similar sounds to Grayson/Greyson, but also to [name_m]Li[/name_m]am, [name_m]Willi[/name_m]am, [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m], [name_m]Adam[/name_m], [name_m]Jameson[/name_m] etc. so it might do?
I know of more people named [name_m]Graham[/name_m] than [name_m]Grant[/name_m]. Most of the Grants are over 20 years old, while most of the Grahams are under 10. I don’t think [name_m]Graham[/name_m] will ever top the charts, but I do see it continuing to rise in the next few years.
I’ve only met one [name_m]Grant[/name_m], a middle schooler, and no Graham’s at all. I definitely think [name_m]Graham[/name_m] has been going up in popularity recently, while [name_m]Grant[/name_m] has been downtrending… I think maybe it’s because [name_m]Graham[/name_m] is a surname-y name, which is popular, and has the easy nn [name_m]Gray[/name_m], which is also popular.
