Graveyard names

So, this might be slightly morbid and I might be slightly crazy, but I love to visit graveyards while travelling and look for cool or interesting names. Since the month is now lovely, spooky, colourful crisp October, I’m thinking of my best finds.
Thoughts on these! What’s your favourite? (including last names on the combos that sound better with the full name.)

Delorie Denise Dutcher
Stirling
Mary Mallory Stumpf
Theodore Laurence (like Little Women!)
Nona Strake
Ima Jean
Verne & wife Shirley
Jessie Fern
Vernita “Petey”
Olga Pippel Ward
Floyd D. Leach
Hope Rebecca
Hildegard
Tawnie Nell
Valdia Cole
Dorothy Maxine
Purnell Tibbets
Essa Boyd
Bonita
Willard Lavoie
Dward James
Florence Arlena Steele
Pinky Charles Downing
Lovelean
Helen Mabel Raven
Warena
Montana Maximilia
Elva
Jurene
Helvia and husband Angus
Marjorie Knibb
Timofay Timofayuk (literally)
Athanasia Tsounis (g)
Zelma Goldsworthy

I actually love many of these, and others are so hilarious. What are your best gravestone finds? (I’m assuming I’m not alone in collecting names like this.)
Enjoy!

This is a neat idea and I should do this month! I’ve thought about doing it before!

I love [name_f]Nona[/name_f] Strake! It’d be a great main character name for something!

The [name_f]Vernita[/name_f] “Petey” must have a story because I don’t know how you get to [name_m]Petey[/name_m] from [name_f]Vernita[/name_f].

[name_f]Olga[/name_f] Pippel [name_m]Ward[/name_m] is also great as well as Purnell Tibbets (sounds like a cat!)

Goldsworthy is such a good last name!

Not at all. A lot of us on here (myself included!) have a love for cemeteries, too! There are lots and lots of posts about cemetery name sightings—on their own and in comment sections. You’re not crazy. I’ve not been to a cemetery in a couple weeks! I’ll have to get back soon.

I absolutely love Theodore Laurence, how cool to see that in the wild!!! Mary Mallory Stumpf, Hildegard, and Zelma Goldsworthy too… I mean what!? They’re so nice.
