Hey
I was just wondering about the name [name_m]Griffin[/name_m] for my son’s name. We love how it sounds but we are worried it’s “too out there” and a risky choice?
Thanks!

I don’t think it’s too out there at all!
[name_m]Griffin[/name_m] is great! It’s bold but it sounds similar to more familiar, safe names like [name_u]Finn[/name_u], [name_m]Ethan[/name_m] or [name_m]Greyson[/name_m]. I like it
I don’t think it’s too out there! Unusual but has familiar sounds
This name is not out there at all, something like [name_m]Wolf[/name_m] or [name_m]Berlin[/name_m] might fall into this category imo.
[name_m]Griffin[/name_m]'s a great choice!

I absolutely love it, and I actually know a little [name_m]Griffin[/name_m] (UK based). It’s a fabulous name with great shortenings, go for it!
I like it! However, the only person I know with that name went by a different name because he hated being called [name_m]Griffin[/name_m].
My brother is named [name_m]Griffin[/name_m] and it fits him perfectly. I’m so used to it so it doesn’t seem “out there” to me at all and people love it. My other brothers are [name_u]Alex[/name_u] and [name_m]Thomas[/name_m], so my mom paired the name with more classic names and it felt like a natural fit.
It’s not personally my favourite, but definitely not too out there! I say go for it!
I really like it, as it features in my signature. I loved the sound, I really like both nickname options ([name_m]Griff[/name_m] and [name_u]Finn[/name_u]) and I’m biased because its welsh. While unusual, it doesnt feel unfamiliar, even when I hadn’t heard it as a name before
