Im finding myself really liking this name but i think i prefer the [name_f]Guiliana[/name_f] spelling. [name_f]Do[/name_f] you like the name? Which spelling do you prefer?

I find something so authentically beautiful about [name_f]Guiliana[/name_f] BUT this spelling does always make me think of [name_u]Rudy[/name_u] Giuliani so that’s a major turn off for me. I think [name_f]Juliana[/name_f] would be easier in the US and lends itself to [name_u]Julie[/name_u] and [name_f]Julia[/name_f] a tad bit more easily.
The correct Italian spelling is [name_f]Giuliana[/name_f] not [name_f]Guiliana[/name_f]. [name_f]Giuliana[/name_f] reminds me of [name_f]Giuliana[/name_f] Rancic, I like it. I prefer [name_f]Giuliana[/name_f] over [name_f]Juliana[/name_f] is theory but am unsure about it in the US, esp. if you have no Italian heritage.
[name_f]Guiliana[/name_f] as you have spelled it is pronounced “Goo-ee-lee-ah-nah” or “Gweeliana” with a hard G. In Italian, the correct spelling is [name_f]Giuliana[/name_f], but you would need to be familiar with Italian grammer rules to know that.
Unless you are Italian or live in [name_f]Italy[/name_f], I prefer [name_f]Juliana[/name_f].
Like others have said, [name_f]Giuliana[/name_f] is the correct Italian spelling, and I would not use it unless you were Italian. I’d stick with [name_f]Juliana[/name_f].
I think [name_f]Giuliana[/name_f] is beautiful and is my preferred spelling. That said, I think [name_f]Juliana[/name_f] would probably work best if the surname is not Italian or you don’t have Italian heritage.
Unless you have a connection to [name_f]Italy[/name_f] (heritage or living there) and/or simply don’t mind correcting people often, I say stick with [name_f]Julianna[/name_f]. I do love [name_f]Giuliana[/name_f] a lot though. 
[name_f]Juliana[/name_f], [name_f]Guiliana[/name_f] is harder to pronounce, looks like guilty, idk, it just looks a bit weird
I feel neutral about them both…I don’t have a preference. My brother and [name_m]SIL[/name_m] did use [name_f]Giuliana[/name_f] as their daughter’s middle name (our grandfather/family is Italian, my maiden name/brother’s surname is Italian, brother and [name_m]SIL[/name_m] speak Italian, and they wanted an Italian name). I guess it would be slightly weird for someone with no actual ties to [name_f]Italy[/name_f] to use [name_f]Giuliana[/name_f], but I wouldn’t think about it much.
[name_f]Juliana[/name_f] may be easier for an American to use.
I really like [name_f]Juliana[/name_f]! My preferred spelling is with the J.
