I love the idea of Pangea. I like how it sounds and the -ea ending fits in with ordinary names like [name_u]Andrea[/name_u] and [name_f]Thea[/name_f]. I’ve also thought about Pangaea and Pangaia. I prefer Pangea over Pangaea because the -aea spelling always confuses me a little bit. I like the spelling of Pangaia but I like Pangea the most because it’s the spelling that’s also used for the supercontinent.
Pangea is the name of a supercontinent that excisted 350 million to 175 million year ago. I like that association because I’m interested in geology and paleontology. It’s fascinating to imagine how earth changes over time.
Pangea means ‘entire world’. For me, this reflects my dream of world peace. I love the diversity of humans on earth. I hope and believe one day we all can live together without hostility. The meaning of this name also reminds me of the fact that although a single person is relatively so very small, they’re part of a big community and ecosystem.

I like Pangaia, which I would pronounce (as a name) as pan-guy-uh (literally all-[name_f]Gaia[/name_f], the [name_f]Earth[/name_f] goddess)

It does feel a little wordy to me. If I’m not mistaken, pan is also a description for a sexual orientation? I would suggest it as a middle name. I like the idea, but it’s a bit brave for me.
I’m loving [name_f]Frederieke[/name_f] Pangea today. I like the rhythm. The combination could mean ‘mighty peace in the whole world’. It’s the perfect combination of strength and tenderheartedness .
