Guinevere vs Gwendolyn vs Gwendoline vs Gwyneth

Thoughts on thowe names ladies?

I want a [name_f]Gwen[/name_f]/Guin, we have given pur oldest a mouthful of a name and nn it to [name_m]Jed[/name_m], but just can’t decide which full name to go with.

I’m leaning to [name_f]Gwendoline[/name_f], as it gives me the [name_f]Gwen[/name_f] spelling I prefer and to me sounds the most feminine, but it is the newest [name_f]Gwen[/name_f] full name I have found.

Thanks for your thoughts ladies xx

Both [name_f]Guinevere[/name_f] and [name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f] are names on my list that I would definitely consider using, and you certainly can’t go wrong with the nn Guin/[name_f]Gwen[/name_f]. Would [name_f]Gwendoline[/name_f] still be pronounced like [name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f] or more like [name_f]GWEN[/name_f]-duh-line?

I love [name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f], but spelt [name_f]Gwendolen[/name_f]. [name_f]Guinevere[/name_f] is a close second

[name_f]Guinevere[/name_f] is my favorite. Makes me think of [name_m]King[/name_m] [name_m]Arthur[/name_m].

I love [name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f] and [name_f]Guinevere[/name_f]

Definitely [name_f]Guinevere[/name_f].

[name_f]Guinevere[/name_f] all the way. I like [name_f]Gwendolen[/name_f], but only when the proper spelling is used.

My vote would be for the gorgeous [name_f]Guinevere[/name_f]. My second choice would be [name_f]Gwyneth[/name_f].

I like [name_f]Guinevere[/name_f] and [name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f].

[name_f]Guinevere[/name_f] is a lovely name, but the queen cheated on her husband with his best friend, so I’d go for [name_f]Gwendoline[/name_f]!

[name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f] and then [name_f]Guinevere[/name_f].

I think [name_f]Guinevere[/name_f] is a lot for a real person and the nn spelled Guin isn’t as attractive to me, and seems like it should be pronounced more like [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] than [name_f]Gwen[/name_f]. My daughter is [name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f] and we love it; I also love [name_f]Gwyneth[/name_f]. The [name_f]Gwendoline[/name_f] spelling makes me want to say line instead of lin. [name_f]Gwendolen[/name_f] is another alternative.

[name_f]Guinevere[/name_f] is my personal favorite, actually, although I’d still spell the nickname [name_f]Gwen[/name_f]. (Actually, I’d use [name_f]Winnie[/name_f], but that’s just me. [name_f]Gwen[/name_f] would be my second choice.)

I like both [name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f] and [name_f]Gwendoline[/name_f] on paper, but I’m not sure how to pronounce the latter name.

I don’t like [name_f]Gwyneth[/name_f].

I love [name_f]Gwyneth[/name_f], also Gwenllian. [name_f]Gwendoline[/name_f] just doesn’t look right to me.

[name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f] and [name_f]Gwyneth[/name_f].

[name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f] is my favorite!

I’m a [name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f]/[name_f]Gwen[/name_f] and I love it  I also adore [name_f]Guinevere[/name_f]; I used to wish that was my full name. I agree with pps that [name_f]Gwendoline[/name_f] is confusing and I personally dislike [name_f]Gwyneth[/name_f].

My favorite is [name_f]Gwyneth[/name_f]. One of my favorite names. I love the meaning, and i find it lovely and feminine without being frilly. I also love [name_f]Gwen[/name_f] by itself–super spunky, would be a front runner for me if I didn’t already have an [name_u]Owen[/name_u].

I also like [name_f]Gwendolen[/name_f]/[name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f]. For some reason I can’t pinpoint, have never really like [name_f]Guinevere[/name_f].

It is  Anyone who says it like [name_f]Gwen[/name_f] isn’t saying it right, lol.

[name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f] all the way!
