[name_m]Gunner[/name_m] goes great with [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m]. It’s a fantastic name, even though some people will think it’s “too violent”. I however, think it’s extremely handsome! I have [name_m]Gunner[/name_m] [name_u]Dean[/name_u] [name_m]Hendrix[/name_m] on my own list! I love it!

I don’t really like [name_m]Gunner[/name_m]. The sound isn’t very appealing and it’s the name for a crew member in the military who specializes in weapons. I personally feel like it’s a bit too modern next to a classic like [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m].
I’m not a fan, personally.
A little cold, but certainly strong and memorable.
I am also open to the [name_m]Gunnar[/name_m] spelling as well. I am not sure if this changes opinions on the name or not. I never gave much thought about the name having a militaristic element to it before. I am not 100 percent sold on the name, so thank you all for your opinions!

Not a fan of [name_m]Gunner[/name_m], there’s a drink called that.
[name_f]Ginger[/name_f] Ale, [name_f]Ginger[/name_f] Beer and Bitters.
[name_m]Gunner[/name_m]/[name_m]Gunnar[/name_m] sound much more modern than traditional, biblical [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m].
I prefer [name_m]Gunnar[/name_m], to distance it from some of the negative connotations. I personally know a [name_m]Gunnar[/name_m] who receives many compliments on his name. He wears it well and has never had any negative associations with his name. I say go for it!
Please don’t. Or at least use the [name_m]Gunnar[/name_m] spelling.
[name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] is a wonderful name and I think a second child deserves something equally classy.
I know a [name_m]Gunner[/name_m] and I think it’s a cool/tough sounding name. It sounds fine next to [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] to me. :•)
The association I have with [name_m]Gunner[/name_m] is someone who will stop at nothing (ie sabotaging other students) to get to the top of the class. Very negative connotation to fellow classmates. If your kid winds up in a competitive school environment (med school, law school, etc) that is not the name you want him to have.
