I really love the name [name_f]Hallie[/name_f], it just sounds so upbeat and I love the sound. [name_f][/name_f]However, my names are typically a little more grand, literary, and old-fashioned (think [name_f]Augusta[/name_f], [name_f]Crescentia[/name_f], & Lavinia) with spunky nicknames (think [name_m]August[/name_m], Cress, & [name_f]Vinnie[/name_f] for the above three).

So, I’d love some more grand names that [name_f]Hallie[/name_f] could be short for!! I’m open to stretchy names, mythology names, names of any culture, anything that you can think of!!

So far I’ve got [name_f]Halimede[/name_f] nn [name_f]Hallie[/name_f], but I’d love anything you come up with!!
[name_f]My[/name_f] first thought was [name_f]Halina[/name_f], a Polish name I’ve always loved, but I love the suggestion of [name_f]Hannelore[/name_f] too, or Hannelotte?

Other ideas:
[name_f][/name_f]
Haroldine [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Heloisa[/name_f] (stretchy, for sure, but I can still see it) [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Halcyone[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f]Euthalia [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Harriet[/name_f] (apparently [name_f]Hallie[/name_f] was originally a nn for Harriet?) [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Mahalia[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Michalina[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Tahal[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Thalia[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f]Zhaleh (definitely a stretch but I have such a crush on this name that I had to sneak it on here even though it’s unrealistic… [name_f][/name_f] I think it’s said like ZHAH-leh)
