Thanks for the suggestions! I think I will further think on [name_u]Wade[/name_u], [name_m]Hal[/name_m], [name_m]Harvey[/name_m] and [name_m]Vince[/name_m]. I like [name_m]George[/name_m] but not sure if hubby would go for it. Plus it’s the name of my daughter’s favorite stuffed monkey. Like [name_m]Wyatt[/name_m] but friends want to use. I will also mull [name_m]Ford[/name_m] over.
Liked suggestions of [name_m]Wyatt[/name_m], [name_m]Heath[/name_m], and [name_m]Harvey[/name_m] too.
[name_m]Hank[/name_m] is often a NN for [name_m]Henry[/name_m], you could use it as a nickname but [name_m]Henry[/name_m] when it needs to go with the surname? The other one I’ve heard as a long form for [name_m]Hank[/name_m] is [name_m]Hiram[/name_m].
You’ve got so many good suggestions… I’d probably add [name_u]Dean[/name_u] to the list…
Otherwise if you wanted to use [name_m]Hank[/name_m] as a nn there are a few options ranging from the traditional [name_m]Henry[/name_m] to the previously mentioned [name_m]Hiram[/name_m], I also like Hendric (though also has the k-ish ending though not as hard), [name_m]Huckleberry[/name_m], [name_m]Hercule[/name_m], [name_m]Heinrich[/name_m], Henricus etc.
