What are your thoughts?
I know SSN #s say it is currently popular, but I’ve yet to meet small Hannahs.
Timeless, beautiful, sweet, fresh sounding…but yes probably a little overused sadly. Still lovely though! I don’t find it dated either although I knew a few my age growing up, and I’m now 25.
I know several [name]Hannah[/name]'s, but they’re all about 15 right now.
There are 3 [name]Hannah[/name]'s in my daughters kindergarten class…I would say over used and I also find it quite boring…
I know no Hannahs between preschool and 2nd grade at my daughters’ school. I find it lovely…
[name]Hannah[/name] was such a popular name in the small midwestern farm town I grew up in! I can think of 10 girls named [name]Hannah[/name]/[name]Hana[/name], most of them would be around 17-25 years old now. The youngest one I know is 6 or 7 years old.
I would consider it timeless, not dated at all. According to the ss list it seems to be a bit trendy!
To me its a little dated and overused
Interesting array of opinions, thanks ladies, keep them coming!
[name]Hannah[/name]/[name]Hanna[/name]/[name]Hana[/name] was popular where I’m from. I still think it’s a great “H” name though.
I don’t think it’s as trendy as some form of [name]Alex[/name] or [name]Emily[/name].
[name]Hannah[/name] is timeless and lovely. My 19 year old sister is [name]Hannah[/name] and my daughter has an 8 year old friend named [name]Hannah[/name]. It spans all ages. So sweet and pretty!
I think popularity can be in pockets – where I am there are A LOT of [name]Hanna/names. Entering [name]Emma[/name] / [name]Ava[/name] territory. I’ve never met a baby [name]Olivia[/name], though. Lots of [name]Lilies[/name], too.
I would find it hard to call a name with biblical origins “dated.” (When I think “dated,” I think something like [name]Debbie[/name] or [name]Linda[/name]). It does seem pretty popular though.
My 6-year-old wishes her name was [name]Hannah[/name] because she loves [name]Hannah[/name] [name]Montana[/name]–so if that craze is still around you will make one happy little girl!
My name is [name]Anna[/name] I have always loved it, I think [name]Hannah[/name] is a great name as well!
I absolutely adore [name]Hannah[/name]. When I was younger, I always wanted a little girl names [name]Hannah[/name] [name]Claire[/name].
But that being said, I wouldn’t use it now. It’s become so popular! I’m a elementary school teacher, and I’ve had tons of [name]Hannah[/name]'s!
I think it’s a lovely name, but way too overused for my taste. I know Hannahs of all ages… the youngest is about 4 I think.
[name]Hannah[/name] is timeless but a huuuge hit in the 90’s, so I just feel it’s overused at the moment
