Go with [name_m]Hanson[/name_m]. It is your grandmother’s actual spelling of her maiden name, and it is more easily recognizable. [name_m]Hansen[/name_m] would get constantly misspelled, I think.

[name_m]Hanson[/name_m] seems more recognisable somehow - probably best for making spelling it easy as possible!

I dislike [name_m]Hanson[/name_m], I dont like its sound as much and it immediately makes me think “Handson” which [name_m]Hansen[/name_m] doesnt

I might be a little biased though since one of my favorite fictional character’s last name is [name_m]Hansen[/name_m]

I would spell it [name_m]Hansen[/name_m], it just seems more familiar. However, I automatically think of the [name_m]Hanson[/name_m] Brothers – which isn’t a big deal at all for kids but parents may assume you were a huge fan. [name_m]Just[/name_m] something to consider with [name_m]Hanson[/name_m] spelling.

I prefer [name_m]Hanson[/name_m]. [name_m]Hansen[/name_m] looks like a made up name.
