Harley?

I am loving the name [name_u]Harley[/name_u]! For me, it’s all boy. However, I’ve heard some find it to be more feminine? Also, what are your general opinions on the name?

Thanks!

I like the sound of [name_u]Harley[/name_u]. It sounds unisex to me.

I like [name_u]Harley[/name_u] on a boy. It’s a family name for me, and I’ve only seen it on male relatives.

I like [name_u]Harley[/name_u] as long as it’s on a little boy. I feel like so many boy’s names are drifting into that unisex category, and this name is really one that shouldn’t be making that transition. Part of the reason it’s completely “boy” is because of the [name_u]Harley[/name_u] motorbikes. That association has always been the reason I saw it as a male name.

It’s unisex to me. For a boy, spell it [name_u]Harley[/name_u], and for a girl, spell it [name_f]Harli[/name_f].

To mean it sounds unisex with leaning toward feminine/cutesy

[name_u]Harley[/name_u] is also a family name for me… great-grandfather. [name_f]My[/name_f] father always wanted me to use it as an honor name, and I’ve considered it for a mn (where all my kids honor names are)… I wish it would stay more male than unisex. I love the name.

I like [name_u]Harley[/name_u]! I would use it for a middle on a girl, but the boy option in cute!

[name_u]Harley[/name_u] was predominantly masculine until the late 80’s/early 90’s. Due to the motorcycles, it has a very masculine feel to it. [name_u]Harley[/name_u] is not my style but it’s not a name I’d be bothered to see on a child.

I really like [name_u]Harley[/name_u] on a boy. It was my grandfather’s middle name so I have always seen it as a masculine name. I would love to see more people use it for boys. I might use it as a middle name only because it seems mismatched with my other children’s more traditional names.

It sounds female to me. I think of [name_u]Harley[/name_u] [name_u]Quinn[/name_u].

[name_u]Harley[/name_u] is very Southern gentleman. I like it!
I have met a boy named [name_u]Harley[/name_u] under the age of 5.

I much prefer [name_u]Harley[/name_u] for a boy.

I work with a young twenty-something guy named [name_u]Harley[/name_u]. He’s a musician, so for me, it seems like an artistic alternative choice. I like it.
