Harlowe or Marlowe?

I’m 31 weeks pregnant. And still havent decided how to name my future child.I like [name_u]Marlowe[/name_u] and Harlowe both.[name_u]Marley[/name_u] or [name_u]Harly[/name_u] would be a cute nicknames.[name_u]Arlo[/name_u] is great nickname for both.
I want to use a hippie name as a second name. So,what do you think?
Siblings names are [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f],[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] and [name_f]Mathilda[/name_f].

I prefer Harlowe but spelt [name_f]Harlow[/name_f] though I love them both

[name_m]Hi[/name_m] there and congrats
Neither of these names are my personal taste - and I don’t think that either of them go with the delightful names you have chosen for your 3 girls.
Being from the UK I can only ever see [name_f]Harlow/name_f as a fairly undesirable large industrial town in [name_m]Essex[/name_m]. [name_u]Marlowe[/name_u] is not a BAD name, and I agree - [name_f]Mary[/name_f] and [name_u]Arlo[/name_u] are sweet nn’s. I will indulge myself with some suggestions ;0
[name_f]Marlena[/name_f]
[name_f]Mariella[/name_f]
[name_f]Henriette[/name_f]
[name_f]Helena[/name_f]

Thank you!I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] [name_f]Henriette[/name_f].But I’m Russian and its a little bit hard for my relatives to understand this name. But [name_f]Henriette[/name_f] is still gorgeous.

I prefer Harlowe! great nicknames!

If I had to chose, [name_u]Marlowe[/name_u]. Harlowe reminds me too much of harlot and is also too similar in sound to [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f].

However I have to say that neither of these names fits with your other hyper-classic, hyper-feminine names. If I met a sibset of [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f], [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f], [name_f]Mathilda[/name_f], and [name_u]Marlow[/name_u]/Harlowe I would assume the youngest child was either a boy or an adopted sibling. Have you considered [name_f]Margot[/name_f], [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] ([name_f]Marly[/name_f]), [name_f]Harriet[/name_f] ([name_f]Hally[/name_f]), [name_f]Arlette[/name_f], [name_f]Pearl[/name_f], [name_f]Juno[/name_f], [name_f]Elodie[/name_f]…?

I prefer [name_u]Marlowe[/name_u], but I agree with other berries, neither go that well with your other girls. Maybe as a mn? Similar suggestions: [name_f]Margot[/name_f], [name_f]Marlena[/name_f], [name_f]Marjorie[/name_f]

[name_u]Marlowe[/name_u] is beautiful and does go with your other names. It’s on the top of my list for a girl, as [name_m]Christopher[/name_m] [name_u]Marlowe[/name_u] is one of my favorites. For those who have literary knowledge, this name fits in the same genre as your other ones.

Neither are really my style. They kind of sound like surnames (probably because of [name_m]Christopher[/name_m] [name_u]Marlowe[/name_u]), place names, or more like boys names (to me). If I had to choose, I’d probably go with [name_u]Marlowe[/name_u]. I do agree that it doesn’t fit with your other girls’ names, but I don’t think that matters; if you love it, go for it!

I’m not sure how [name_u]Marlowe[/name_u], as a man’s surname, means that it fits with the rest of the sibset. Am I missing a connection here? Nice slight on the other berries’ literary nous though. Ha!

I like [name_f]Harlow[/name_f] but I think the e at the end makes it look funny. I prefer [name_u]Marlowe[/name_u] and I like the nn [name_u]Marley[/name_u] or [name_u]Arlo[/name_u]

No to the lowe. Your other girls have stunning names. I find these uber trendy. I would keep looking.

Can I just say, oh my gosh, your children’s names are my dream girl’s names! No joke, look at my signature! I’m stunned and thrilled to see all my favourite girl names in a sibset together- that is incredible!

I seriously love both! What hippie middle name do you have picked? If it was my decision I think I would choose [name_u]Marlowe[/name_u] but I like the spelling “marlo” congrats!

I prefer [name_u]Marlowe[/name_u]

Those who said that it doesn’t go with your daughters you already have, I agree with. Your daughters have such beautiful classic names! [name_m]Both[/name_m] Harlowe and [name_u]Marlowe[/name_u] are very trendy and no where near as beautiful as the other girls. However, [name_f]Margot[/name_f] as someone else suggested I think is a GREAT alternative without being too trendy like those are. Plus neither ages well, can you imagine a 40 year old Harlowe or [name_u]Marlowe[/name_u]?
