I voted [name_m]Harris[/name_m], since I’m not a fan of very many -son names. But I like just [name_m]Harry[/name_m] on its own.
[name_m]HARRISON[/name_m]
i am almost always for longer names because it gives your child OPTIONS.
in this case, it just gives him possibly a more grand full name and the nickname of [name_m]Harris[/name_m].
for other parents who think its smart to give their child a full name of a nickname like [name_f]Effie[/name_f], [name_f]Bea[/name_f], [name_u]Izzy[/name_u], [name_u]Alfie[/name_u], [name_u]Gus[/name_u], etc - while great nicknames i implore people to remember the three important name aspects in a persons life:
WHAT [name_m]WILL[/name_m] A [name_m]PERSON[/name_m], SOMEONE [name_f]ELSE[/name_f] (NOT YOU THE PARENT) WANT/NEED TO BE CALLED IN THESE 3 SITUATIONS:
[name_m]Harrison[/name_m]…I’m a fan of the actor, but I also prefer longer names.
I love [name_m]Harris[/name_m]! [name_m]Harrison[/name_m] seems a little tired. I don’t like son names.
I voted for [name_m]Harrison[/name_m]. [name_m]Harris[/name_m] feels very preppy to me, whereas [name_m]Harrison[/name_m] has more of a rugged feel. If you’re going to call him [name_m]Harry[/name_m], [name_m]Harrison[/name_m] makes more sense because [name_m]Harris[/name_m] and [name_m]Harry[/name_m] are both two syllables.
I don’t generally like -son names either, but I definitely prefer [name_m]Harrison[/name_m] to [name_m]Harris[/name_m]. [name_m]Harris[/name_m] feels too last-name-y to me (I know they’re both last names, but that’s just the impression they give me). Maybe I’m biased because one of my close friends has a son named [name_m]Harrison[/name_m]? I dunno.
