The names of Harry, Ron, Hermione, and the like’s children have long been a point of controversy in the HP fan club. So, I’m curious—what would you name everyone’s children!?
Feel free to use honors names for different characters in the franchise, keep some kids’ names exactly the same, bring in completely new names, or whatever else you like! Also, don’t feel as though you need to rename every family if you don’t wish to!

I would have done Albus & Sirius as first names, but I love the idea of Harry’s sons running around with the same names as his father & his godfather. Signifying a strong bond between his boys Roland & Millie would be a fresher version of “Ronald & Molly”. I also feel like Harry would have given his kids two middles, so why not!

George was hit the hardest by his twin brother’s demise He would have definitely chosen Fred as the first name for his only son. Isadora & Alastor are honor names for the Fallen Warriors, Nymphadora & Mad-Eye. Both Angelina & George agreed that their legacies should live on, and this was their way to honor their lives.

James Sirius is a wonderful name so I kept it as is. Albus Severus didn’t used to bother me (in fact Harry naming a kid after Dumbledore makes sense, but Snape is a little harder for me to get behind) except I didn’t think Albus went well with James and Lily. I also think that Ginny’s family should be honored as well as Hagrid, so I went with Arthur Rubeus since I think Arthur and James are a much better fit style wise. Lily’s name was changed so that I could fit Molly in as well.

I didn’t like Roxanne as a name and I think Jane goes better with Fred (whose name remains the same for obvious reasons).
I kept james’ name and slightly changed lily’s because I did already like them, and who they honor. To me, it seemed like ginny only got to pick one name, lily’s middle name, and named her after her best friend [or close to it]. I would name their middle kid arthur frederick for pretty obvious reasons. I also really hate that he was originally named after two abusive and/or manipulative figures in harry’s life.
hermione is also a character from shakespeare’s the winter’s tale, and i like the idea of their kids also getting shakespearian names, especially because of hermione’s love of books. I went with leonine [meaning of the lion, connection to gryffindor and bravery] and tybalt [meaning brave people].
Harry James + Genevra Molly
Albion Jem - (Albion is inspired by Albus, so it still honors Dumbledore. Jem is a variant of James to honor Harry’s father.)
Cedric Ronald - (Cedric is in remembrance of Cedric Diggory. Ronald is an honor for Ronald Weasley)
Lillian Molly - (Lillian is still after Harry’s mom, and Molly is after Ginny’s.)

Rose Minerva - (I kept Rose, and used Minerva to honor Minerva McGonagall)
Hugo Novel - (I kept Hugo, and used Novel to honor Hermione’s love for literature)
