So, Fiance and I are having our first little munchkin in [name_f]October[/name_f] and we’re huge [name_m]Harry[/name_m] [name_m]Potter[/name_m] fans (which is really neat because baby is due near Halloween).
We know it’s super early but we’re having fun thinking of names for this baby (we don’t know the sex and probably won’t find out until birth). Since we’re such huge [name_m]Harry[/name_m] potter fans, we thought it would be neat to name the baby something vintage and/or whimsical.

Well, most students at Hogwarts seem to have quite normal names that might reflect their heritage but apart from that don’t differ much from normal British kids’ names.

Are you more looking for the everyday 90s-British feel of the majority of the students in the books ([name_m]Justin[/name_m], [name_m]Oliver[/name_m], [name_f]Katie[/name_f]) or a touch of the more eccentric names held by the adults ([name_m]Phineas[/name_m], Merope, [name_f]Andromeda[/name_f])? I also really like Spiridion, and I love that it comes with [name_m]Spiro[/name_m] as a nickname possibility. So many of these odd names have lovely sounds for attention-grabbing nicknames.
