I’ve seen a lot of games like this one and I really like them, so I thought I’d try to make a [name_m]Harry[/name_m] [name_m]Potter[/name_m]-themed one. I also tried to make it as LGBT+ friendly as possible. Apologies for any mistakes in my English, it’s not my first language.

It’s very scary for the rest of our family, especially for [name_f]Alice[/name_f] who is in her first year at Hogwarts. She got sorted into Ravenclaw like her mother and apart from her brother’s accident, she really enjoys the school.
Year 16: [name_u]Ash[/name_u] is now 40 years old and decides to quit his Quidditch job and starts working at the Minister of [name_u]Magic[/name_u]. He really enjoys his new job, even though it is very different from his old.
Year 17: I get the chance to work as a journalist for The Quibbler. In order to do that, I quit my job at the other Wizarding newspaper. Year 6: After the passing of their beloved fish ([name_f]Mina[/name_f]), a family friend gifts the [name_u]Kiernan[/name_u] family with a phoenix. She is named [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f].

Year 7: [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] unexpectedly dies when a blasting curse tragically strikes [name_u]Kiernan[/name_u]'s Coffee Shoppe after hours. The source of the curse was never discovered but it was hypothesized to have been cast by an Azkaban escapee with a stolen wand.

Year 8: The family is informed that the sister of [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] the [name_u]Phoenix[/name_u] is available for adoption, since her current owners are moving cross-country. [name_f]Phyllis[/name_f] the [name_u]Phoenix[/name_u] joins the family.

Year 9: A dangerous prisoner, Rodolphus Lestrange, escapes from Azkaban and the whole Wizarding World is terrified. He is discovered in [name_f]Scotland[/name_f] with his brother and fellow Azkaban escapee, Rabastan Lestrange, who admits to casting the blasting curse that killed [name_u]Rowan[/name_u]. Both men are returned to the maximum security ward of Azkaban.

[name_f]Poppy[/name_f] and [name_u]Emerson[/name_u] met while she was at St. [name_m]Mungo[/name_m]'s visiting Diagon Alley employees who were injured in the blasting curse accident that killed her first husband.

Year 11: [name_f]Poppy[/name_f] suffers a miscarriage. In anticipation for [name_f]Anabella[/name_f], [name_f]Aurora[/name_f], and [name_f]Alice[/name_f] starting at Hogwarts next year, they get a pet [name_f]Tawny[/name_f] Owl, which they name [name_u]Cato[/name_u], so they can send mail home more easily.

Year 12: The girls go to Hogwarts. [name_f]Alice[/name_f], the most athletic of the triplets, is the only one excited for this gift.

Year 13: Unexpected pregnancy (after her miscarriage, [name_f]Poppy[/name_f] thought she was done having children)! Twins are born, a boy ([name_m]Brendan[/name_m] [name_u]Emerson[/name_u] [name_m]Lewis[/name_m]) and a girl ([name_f]Bridget[/name_f] [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] [name_m]Lewis[/name_m]).

Year 14: A distant relative passes away and leaves [name_u]Emerson[/name_u] a conspicuous amount of money in his will. We use it to move into a nice cottage in Hogsmeade to be closer to the older girls.

I’m doing this too because I had lots of fun creating this game, so I guess I’ll have fun playing it too!

Despite being in two completely different Houses ([name_u]Valentine[/name_u] was a fiery Gryffindor and [name_f]Claret[/name_f] was an ambitious Slytherin), they managed to meet during free periods and they always spent the holidays together. They got married in 2022 in a small, private ceremony and spent their honeymoon in [name_f]France[/name_f]. They live in a comfortable 3-bedroom flat in Kenmare, [name_f]Ireland[/name_f], [name_u]Valentine[/name_u]’s hometown, and they’re both avid fans of the Kenmare Kestrels. They own five pets: [name_f]Claret[/name_f]’s ball python, Medusa (6), which she bought after graduation, [name_u]Valentine[/name_u]’s snowy owl, [name_f]Brunhild[/name_f] (13), which is the pet she chose to take with her when she went to Hogwarts, a crested gecko named Godzilla (3), a betta named [name_m]Merlin[/name_m] (2) and a former shelter dog, a [name_u]Golden[/name_u] Retriever named [name_m]Altair[/name_m] (2). [name_u]Valentine[/name_u] works as a columnist for the [name_m]Daily[/name_m] Prophet and has the chance to offer her personal point of view to the readers of the newspaper, while [name_f]Claret[/name_f] is a Healer at St. [name_m]Mungo[/name_m]’s and is specialized in curing contagious maladies.

Year 1 - The couple starts trying to have a child. [name_m]Even[/name_m] though they were expecting to conceive only after several tries, [name_u]Valentine[/name_u] gets pregnant on her first insemination, so we could say that the pregnancy was kind of a surprise! She gives birth to a healthy baby girl and they decide to name her [name_f]Miriam[/name_f] [name_u]Abilene[/name_u]. Her middle name was given to her after [name_f]Claret[/name_f]’s mother. Also, [name_m]Merlin[/name_m], the fish [name_f]Claret[/name_f] gave [name_u]Valentine[/name_u] as a gift for their engagement, suddenly dies at the age of three and the couple is really sad.

Year 2 - [name_u]Valentine[/name_u] meets up with an old friend from Hogwarts. They spend a wonderful afternoon talking about their lives, their current jobs and families. [name_u]Valentine[/name_u] is pleased to find out that her friend is currently in a relationship with another old friend of hers and they’re thinking about tying the knot soon!

Year 3 - The couple decides to give [name_f]Miriam[/name_f] a little sibling to play with and they take the decision to start the baby-making process, except that [name_f]Claret[/name_f] wants to carry the baby this time. She gets pregnant on the third try and has a wonderful baby girl, [name_f]Andromeda[/name_f] [name_f]Noelle[/name_f]. [name_f]Miriam[/name_f] is excited about her new sister!

Year 4 - [name_u]Valentine[/name_u] writes a controversial article about a famous and extremely skilled wizard on the [name_m]Daily[/name_m] Prophet and refuses to take back what she wrote about him. He challenges her to a duel and she accepts. She doesn’t win, but she still believes that everything she wrote is nothing but the truth.

Year 5 - Medusa, [name_f]Claret[/name_f]’s python, passes away early because of various health problems and she is absolutely devastated. In captivity, ball pythons typically reach to be around 25 years old and the fact that Medusa only lived for 11 years leaves her owner shocked and sad. [name_u]Valentine[/name_u] suggests that they buy another animal to fill the void left by Medusa’s death, but [name_f]Claret[/name_f] doesn’t feel ready to buy another pet.

Year 6 - The couple tries to have another baby and [name_u]Valentine[/name_u] successfully gets pregnant, but she has a miscarriage at 8 weeks. They’re both utterly heartbroken, but they come to the conclusion that life has to go on and they adopt a handsome 4-year-old boy from Chile, whom they name [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m] [name_m]Amos[/name_m].

Year 7 - The children have been begging to get a new pet for a long time, so the couple decides to adopt a tiny gerbil and [name_f]Miriam[/name_f] chooses to name him [name_u]Chandler[/name_u]. He is only a few months old and he is super cute! Unfortunately, [name_f]Brunhild[/name_f], [name_u]Valentine[/name_u]’s snowy owl, dies after 20 years spent by her owner’s side.

Year 8 - [name_f]Claret[/name_f], helped by her wife, writes and publishes an essay about the most important Muggle medical milestones of the past century and it immediately becomes a best-seller! It is particularly appreciated amongst Muggle Studies students and it soon becomes one of Hogwarts’ required textbooks.

Year 9 - [name_u]Valentine[/name_u] really wants to get pregnant again and she conceives a baby on the second try. She is really worried about her pregnancy because of her previous miscarriage, but everything goes perfectly well and she gives birth to an awesome baby boy. They decide to name him [name_m]Fletcher[/name_m] [name_m]Dougal[/name_m].

Year 10 - The couple starts the adoption process once again and they eventually bring home a 12-year-old boy from Ethiopia, the sweet [name_m]Tobias[/name_m] [name_u]Sterling[/name_u]. Also, [name_m]Altair[/name_m], the family dog, dies at the age of 12 and everyone in the family is deeply sad, especially [name_f]Andromeda[/name_f], who had a special connection with him.

Year 11 - [name_u]Valentine[/name_u] and [name_f]Claret[/name_f] find out that [name_m]Tobias[/name_m] is a Squib, since he is already 13 years old and hasn’t shown any sign of magical powers yet. He is upset that he won’t go to a wizarding school and won’t be with his siblings, but the couple assures him that they will always love and support him unconditionally. They’re glad that he will still be able to see all those things that are hidden from the Muggles and will have the possibility to use to certain magical objects and creatures that could help him. Also, [name_u]Chandler[/name_u], the gerbil, dies at the age of four, which is an impressive age for such a minute animal.

Year 12 - [name_f]Miriam[/name_f] starts her first year at Hogwarts and her parents give her a phoenix to celebrate, which she names Faerie. She is sorted into Ravenclaw and is very happy to belong to the “smart” House, even though her parents always remind her that all Houses are equally important and worthy of respect.

Year 13 - [name_f]Claret[/name_f]’s great-uncle passes away all of sudden and leaves her an enormous amount of money in his will. Since the house the family lives in has become a little too small for them, she and her wife use the money to buy a new one! They move into a big 5-bedroom house with a garden and a pool. [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m] also goes to Hogwarts and the Sorting [name_f]Hat[/name_f] declares that he belongs to the House of Gryffindor!

Year 14 - The couple has the possibility to undergo one last round of insemination and decides to go for it. [name_f]Claret[/name_f] didn’t like being pregnant at all and doesn’t want to do it again, so [name_u]Valentine[/name_u] is the one who tries to get pregnant. [name_m]Even[/name_m] though they weren’t expecting it to actually happen, [name_u]Valentine[/name_u] finds out she’s pregnant a couple of weeks after the insemination and has a beautiful baby girl, [name_f]Hypatia[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]. [name_f]Andromeda[/name_f] starts attending Hogwarts and is sorted into Gryffindor. [name_u]Valentine[/name_u] doesn’t want to admit it, but she’s very proud of the fact that two of her children belongs to the same House she was sorted into.

Year 15 - [name_u]Valentine[/name_u] gets the opportunity to work for a major [name_f]Indian[/name_f] wizarding newspaper, so the whole family moves to Kolkata, [name_f]India[/name_f]. The couple decides not to send their children to a local wizarding school, so they keep going to Hogwarts. In the meantime, Godzilla, the gecko, suddenly passes away.

Year 16 - While on shift at the [name_f]Indian[/name_f] wizarding hospital she currently works at, [name_f]Claret[/name_f] is victim of a Memory Charm. Luckily, most of her memory is soon restored by a skilled team of Healers, but she doesn’t remember what happened in the past two years of her life and has no memory of [name_f]Hypatia[/name_f]’s birth. In the meantime, [name_m]Tobias[/name_m] graduates from Muggle high school and goes to college to study marine biology.

Year 17 - After her recent memory loss, [name_f]Claret[/name_f] realizes that she’d like to have a calmer and less dangerous job, so she starts working at the Ministry of [name_u]Magic[/name_u], more specifically in the Department of International Magical Cooperation. Despite missing her old job sometimes, she’s happy with her new one.

Year 18 - It’s [name_f]Miriam[/name_f]’s seventh year at Hogwarts and she becomes a Head Girl! Both of her parents are incredibly proud of her and [name_f]Miriam[/name_f] is happy to lead the prefects and all the other students, but [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m] and [name_f]Andromeda[/name_f] are jealous of her and they never miss the chance to call her “Miss [name_f]Prissy[/name_f]”.

Year 19 - It’s a sad year for the [name_u]Tierney[/name_u]-[name_m]Phelan[/name_m] family. [name_f]Claret[/name_f] is tragically killed during a rebellion at the Ministry of [name_u]Magic[/name_u] and the whole family is devastated. [name_u]Valentine[/name_u] is desperate and nothing seems to boost her morale, not even her children’s graduations. In fact, [name_f]Miriam[/name_f] graduates from Hogwarts and starts working as a Trainer Healer in a local wizarding hospital, following her deceased mother’s steps, and [name_m]Tobias[/name_m] graduates from college and finds a job as a marine biologist for a well-known marine center.

Year 20 - The family has been pet-less for a while, except for [name_f]Miriam[/name_f]’s phoenix, so [name_u]Valentine[/name_u] decides to buy a toad, which she names [name_m]Neville[/name_m]. [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m] also graduates from Hogwarts and moves back to [name_f]Ireland[/name_f], where he opens a small wand shop that soon becomes very famous. [name_m]Fletcher[/name_m] goes to Hogwarts for the first time and is sorted into Slytherin, the same House [name_f]Claret[/name_f] was sorted into. [name_u]Valentine[/name_u] is still saddened by her wife’s tragic death, but she is moving on and may fall in love again in the future.

We live in [name_f]Scotland[/name_f]. Me and [name_m]John[/name_m] met at Hogwarts, when we both went to Apparition class. We started out as friends and then evolved to something more. Year 1: When we get back from our honeymoon we find out I’m pregnant! We have yet another surprise when we learn that it’s triplets! Year 4: This year [name_m]John[/name_m] passes away. He was just flying on his broomstick when a storm came in and made he lose control over his broomstick and he crash-landed. I am heartbroken but 1 year later I marry again.
Year 5: This is the year I marry. His name is [name_u]Charlie[/name_u] and he was my first love, tho at the time he didn’t have the same feelings. We stayed in touch and when [name_m]John[/name_m] died he was there for me and told me how he had developed feelings for me. Before I knew it, he had proposed and we had a beautiful halloween themed wedding. The children are first naturally wary towards him, but after a while they get along well.
Year 6: I get a huge pay rise!
Year 7: One day [name_u]Charlie[/name_u] brings home a phoenix he found. We name him [name_m]Apollo[/name_m].
Year 8: [name_u]Charlie[/name_u] decides to quit his job to pursue his old dream of working at the Minister of [name_u]Magic[/name_u], at the auror office.
Year 9: This is the year [name_m]Will[/name_m] goes to Hogwarts! We wern’t sure whether he had magic or not until he made a cookie fly from the plate into his hands. He got sorted into Ravenclaw!
Year 10: Me and [name_u]Charlie[/name_u] has our first child together! A baby boy named [name_m]Brandon[/name_m] [name_m]Asher[/name_m] ”[name_u]Bran[/name_u]” [name_m]Madden[/name_m]
Year 11: This year the triplets goes to Hogwarts! Tho I am excited to see which house they get into, it is also sad because me and [name_m]John[/name_m] often talked about what houses we thought they might get sorted into when I was pregnant with them. [name_u]Percy[/name_u] gets sorted into Hufflepuff (tho I always imagined him in Ravenclaw), [name_u]Darren[/name_u] gets sorted into Gryffindor (just as [name_m]John[/name_m] believed) and [name_f]Becky[/name_f] gets sorted into Gryffindor as well (both me and [name_m]John[/name_m] was right about that)!
Year 12: After a lot of begging from the children, we get a very large dog whom we name [name_m]Frodo[/name_m].
Year 13: Me and [name_u]Charlie[/name_u] feels that we are ready to have another child, and we end up with three! The triplets are two boys and one girl (as before). We name the boys [name_m]Leo[/name_m] [name_m]Lucas[/name_m] [name_m]Madden[/name_m] and [name_m]John[/name_m] (after my first husband) [name_m]Matthew[/name_m] [name_m]Madden[/name_m]. Year 16: My old friend from the adoption agency contacts me again, this time about a 8-year old boy from [name_u]Brazil[/name_u] named [name_m]Alexei[/name_m] [name_u]Tristan[/name_u] ”[name_u]Alex[/name_u]” [name_m]Madden[/name_m]. Me and [name_u]Charlie[/name_u] of course adopts him.
Year 17: It’s the the first triplets time to graduate from Hogwarts! [name_m]Just[/name_m] as with [name_m]Will[/name_m], I can’t believe how much they’ve grown and I’m very proud of them. [name_u]Percy[/name_u] starts, after a few months of vacation, to work as a dragon keeper. [name_u]Darren[/name_u] pursue his career as a photographer. [name_f]Becky[/name_f] joins her brother as a healer at St. [name_m]Mungo[/name_m]'s
Year 18: [name_u]Charlie[/name_u] wants another child but I don’t wanna start over, so we reach a compromise and decide to adopt an older child. The child is 14, he’s from [name_u]Egypt[/name_u] and is called [name_m]Christian[/name_m] [name_m]Amon[/name_m] ”[name_u]Chris[/name_u]” [name_m]Madden[/name_m]. When we adopt him he enrolls into Hogwarts and gets sorted into Ravenclaw.
Year 19: I get fired from my job when I accidentally publish the wrong article. About two months later I take a job at Hogwarts teaching apparition.
Year 20: An article is published in The [name_m]Daily[/name_m] Prophet about [name_u]Percy[/name_u] because he has discovered a new dragon specie!

Both [name_f]Violet[/name_f] and [name_m]Henry[/name_m] love their jobs and so decide to sell the house and stay in their house in Hogsmeade, so it is easy for them both to get to work.

Year 5: The family cat, [name_m]Albus[/name_m], passes away. [name_f]Rose[/name_f], at four years old, is especially upset.

Year 6: A distant relative of [name_m]Henry[/name_m]'s passes away and leaves a large amount of money in his will. [name_f]Violet[/name_f] and [name_m]Henry[/name_m] use it to buy a house in [name_u]London[/name_u] for the family to use in the holidays and when [name_m]Henry[/name_m] is on night shifts at St Mungos.

Year 7: [name_m]Henry[/name_m] suddenly passes away when an outbreak of Dragon Pox occurs at St Mungos. [name_f]Violet[/name_f] is devastated and finds it very hard to cope without someone she has known since she was 11 and has been married to for 7 years. [name_f]Rose[/name_f] keeps asking for her Daddy but [name_m]Arthur[/name_m] and [name_m]Hugo[/name_m] aren’t quite old enough to understand. [name_f]Violet[/name_f] sells the [name_u]London[/name_u] house because it reminds her too much of [name_m]Henry[/name_m] and the future they were supposed to have.

Year 8: An article about [name_f]Violet[/name_f] is published in the [name_m]Daily[/name_m] Prophet about her success in her field. Her skills in Charms make her a very accomplished Witch and a very successful Professor.

Year 9: [name_f]Violet[/name_f] gets a huge pay rise, as she is promoted to Head of Slytherin House.

Year 10: Though she still loves and misses [name_m]Henry[/name_m], [name_f]Violet[/name_f] gets married to [name_u]James[/name_u] [name_m]Eugene[/name_m] [name_m]Hemingway[/name_m]. [name_u]James[/name_u] is 30 and was in the same year as [name_f]Violet[/name_f] and [name_m]Henry[/name_m] at Hogwarts, but a Gryffindor. He is the Herbology Professor at Hogwarts and helped [name_f]Violet[/name_f] get through [name_m]Henry[/name_m]'s death. They are very much in love and [name_u]James[/name_u] gets on well with [name_f]Rose[/name_f], [name_m]Arthur[/name_m] and [name_m]Hugo[/name_m].

Year 11: An unexpected pregnancy! A baby girl named [name_f]Adeline[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] [name_m]Hemingway[/name_m] is born. [name_u]Baby[/name_u] [name_f]Della[/name_f] really blends [name_f]Violet[/name_f]'s new family together.

Year 12: The family gets a new cat, [name_f]Minerva[/name_f]. She continues the theme of cats named after Hogwarts Headteachers in the family. [name_f]Rose[/name_f] starts Hogwarts and is sorted into Slytherin, like her mother and father. She is very excited, but less thrilled that her mother is also her Head of House.

Year 13: As both [name_f]Violet[/name_f] and [name_u]Jem[/name_u] are Professors at Hogwarts, the children are often at the Castle with them. [name_m]Hagrid[/name_m] regularly looks after [name_m]Hugo[/name_m] and [name_m]Arthur[/name_m] whilst [name_f]Violet[/name_f] is busy. However, when playing in [name_m]Hagrid[/name_m]'s pumpkin patch, [name_m]Hugo[/name_m] gets lost in the Forbidden [name_m]Forest[/name_m]. [name_m]Hagrid[/name_m] is beside himself and interrupts [name_u]Jem[/name_u]'s Herbology class to tell him. Luckily, [name_u]James[/name_u] found [name_m]Hugo[/name_m] a little way into the forest, being told a story by Firenze, a centaur before [name_f]Violet[/name_f] found out.

Year 14: An unexpected pregnancy! Twins, [name_f]Elinor[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_m]Hemingway[/name_m] and [name_m]Atticus[/name_m] [name_u]James[/name_u] [name_m]Hemingway[/name_m] are born. [name_m]Arthur[/name_m] and [name_m]Hugo[/name_m] also start Hogwarts and join [name_f]Rose[/name_f] in Slytherin.

Year 15: As the family grows, [name_f]Violet[/name_f] and [name_u]James[/name_u] decide that they need more space and a home that is theirs together. They stay in Hogsmeade, but buy a bigger house a few minutes further away from Hogwarts.

Year 16: [name_m]Hugo[/name_m] breaks his wand - some how neither [name_f]Violet[/name_f] or [name_u]James[/name_u] are surprised. Luckily, it is the weekend and so [name_u]James[/name_u] pays a quick visit to Ollivanders on Diagon Alley whilst buying some new Herbology books for his lessons.

Year 17: Professor Longbottom, the Headmaster of Hogwarts, makes [name_f]Violet[/name_f] his Deputy. She is thrilled and hopes to one day take over as Headmistress of Hogwarts. For now though, she is very happy as the Head of Slytherin, Charms Professor and now Deputy Headmistress.

Year 18: [name_u]James[/name_u]’ brother tragically dies in a duel. As his wife died giving birth to their daughter, [name_f]Violet[/name_f] and [name_u]James[/name_u] decide to adopt them. 8 year old [name_m]Edmund[/name_m] [name_u]Orion[/name_u] [name_m]Hemingway[/name_m] and 3 year old [name_f]Luna[/name_f] [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] [name_m]Hemingway[/name_m] move into the family home.

Year 19: [name_f]Violet[/name_f] arrives at her daily meeting with [name_m]Neville[/name_m], but he is not alone. [name_m]Harry[/name_m] [name_m]Potter[/name_m] is sat in his office too. [name_f]Violet[/name_f] apologises and excuses herself but the two men laugh and tell her to come in. The three get on well and end up talking for so long that [name_u]James[/name_u] comes to find her. In the end, [name_f]Violet[/name_f] and [name_u]James[/name_u] become good friends with [name_m]Harry[/name_m] and meet up weekly with him, [name_f]Ginny[/name_f], [name_m]Ron[/name_m], [name_f]Hermione[/name_f], [name_m]Neville[/name_m] and [name_f]Hannah[/name_f]. [name_f]Violet[/name_f] is very embarrassed to tell them all that [name_f]Rose[/name_f]'s middle name is [name_f]Hermione[/name_f], but the group just laughs and [name_f]Ginny[/name_f] mocks offense that [name_f]Adeline[/name_f]'s middle name isn’t [name_f]Ginevra[/name_f].

Year 20: An article is published about [name_f]Rose[/name_f] in the [name_m]Daily[/name_m] Prophet. Her [name_m]NEWT[/name_m] results are the highest mark since [name_f]Hermione[/name_f] [name_m]Granger[/name_m] took hers after the war. She is proving a great success in the beginnings of her career in the Department of Magical [name_m]Law[/name_m] Enforcement. The Wizarding World expects great things from her - even tipping her for Minister for [name_u]Magic[/name_u] eventually. [name_f]Violet[/name_f] and [name_u]James[/name_u] are very proud, and [name_f]Violet[/name_f] knows that [name_m]Henry[/name_m] would be delighted. [name_f]Violet[/name_f] knew she gave [name_f]Rose[/name_f] the middle name [name_f]Hermione[/name_f] for a reason!

They was good friends, but [name_f]Rose[/name_f] was dating a boy of her year, [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m] Clearwater.

2008: [name_u]Cameron[/name_u]'s older sister, [name_f]Jessica[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_u]Quinn[/name_u], who is an auror, tragically dies in a duel. She leave behind two children, an 8-year-old boy, [name_u]James[/name_u] [name_m]Andrew[/name_m] [name_u]Carter[/name_u] and a 3-year-old girl, [name_f]Emma[/name_f] [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] [name_u]Carter[/name_u]. They decide to adopt them.
