Having boy & girl twins...need serious girl name help!!

I love [name_f]Jane[/name_f] so much, I would honour a [name_f]Jeanne[/name_f] with [name_f]Jane[/name_f], I think.

I like the pp suggestion of [name_f]Adela[/name_f] [name_f]Marianne[/name_f]! I like the idea of combining their names, also…that way the middle name is distinctly your daughter’s, but fits both grandma’s in. What about [name_u]Jem[/name_u] in the middle - J and M? I like [name_u]Jem[/name_u] on a girl, and [name_f]Adela[/name_f] [name_u]Jem[/name_u] is sweet, I think! You could do [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] [name_f]Jemma[/name_f], or [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] [name_f]Jemma[/name_f], too. I think [name_f]Maryjane[/name_f] or [name_f]Marnie[/name_f] would work, too - a twist on both of their names! I like [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] or [name_f]Adela[/name_f] best as first names with brother [name_m]Otto[/name_m] - Good [name_m]Luck[/name_m]! Twins are a lot of fun:)

Thanks for your thoughts ladies! My [name_f]MIL[/name_f] name is [name_f]Claudia[/name_f] [name_f]Jeanne[/name_f] [name_m]Light[/name_m] (maiden last), and it seems the only useable name is [name_f]Jeanne[/name_f]…

I suppose I could just leave [name_f]Marie[/name_f] out and not honor any of the ladies, that could be an option…?

Oh gosh, i love the name [name_f]Claudia[/name_f]! [name_f]Claudia[/name_f] [name_f]Marie[/name_f] would be lovely.

The name [name_m]Light[/name_m] is interesting- maybe you could use [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] (or one of its variants) which mean light? [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] and [name_m]Otto[/name_m] are gorgeous! Or there is [name_f]Lucienne[/name_f], [name_f]Lucille[/name_f], [name_f]Lucinda[/name_f], [name_f]Lucia[/name_f], [name_f]Luciana[/name_f] etc.

I love [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] [name_f]Jeanne[/name_f] and [name_f]Ella[/name_f] [name_f]Marie[/name_f]! Have you ever thought about [name_f]Marina[/name_f] nn [name_f]Marie[/name_f] or [name_f]Janine[/name_f] nn [name_f]Jeanne[/name_f]?

[name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] and [name_m]Otto[/name_m] would be nice. [name_f]Rose[/name_f] is pretty too. You could leave both names out, or honor them in a different way ( fav flower, color, place). I do have to say while [name_f]Claudia[/name_f] may seem unfashionable and clunky- I think in this day and age it’s totally not.

[name_m]Otto[/name_m] and [name_f]Claudia[/name_f] sound very well paired.

I love [name_f]Hazel[/name_f]! I’m a little biased because The Fault in Our Stars by [name_m]John[/name_m] [name_u]Green[/name_u] is one of my favorite books. I also think it goes very well with [name_m]Otto[/name_m].

Since your twin son will be honoring both grandfathers, it would be very obvious if your twin daughter only honors one grandmother. Your [name_f]MIL[/name_f] will most likely feel left out and hurt if you don’t include her name in some way.I know I would feel that way. So you should either incorporate both your Mother and [name_f]MIL[/name_f] or use neither of their names.
[name_f]JeanMarie[/name_f] or [name_f]Annmarie[/name_f] could be nice option that combine their names into one middle name.

Other Double middle name that could honor both
[name_f]Jeannette[/name_f] [name_f]Marie[/name_f]
[name_f]Lia[/name_f] [name_f]Marie[/name_f]
[name_f]Lucia[/name_f] [name_f]Marie[/name_f]
[name_f]Marie[/name_f] [name_f]Claudia[/name_f]

LADIES!! I may have it! What about the middle name Marjeanne?? It combines [name_f]Marie[/name_f], [name_f]Jeanne[/name_f], and my other grandmother’s names of [name_f]Marjorie[/name_f] and [name_f]Marilyn[/name_f] [name_u]Jean[/name_u].

[name_f]Ella[/name_f] Marjeanne!! Or Another name Marjeanne!

What about [name_m]Otto[/name_m] and [name_f]Marie[/name_f]? Then you could use [name_f]Marie[/name_f] [name_f]Jeanne[/name_f]? I love someone’s suggestion of [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] and [name_m]Otto[/name_m], but if other people don’t get the light connection you still might have to explain how mil fits in. Good luck!

Have you considered [name_f]Jeanette[/name_f]? [name_f]Jeanette[/name_f] [name_f]Marie[/name_f]… [name_m]Otto[/name_m] and [name_f]Jeanette[/name_f]?

I’m not the biggest fan of [name_f]Rosemarie[/name_f] [name_f]Jeanne[/name_f]…both of those names sound fairly dated to me.

I really like the name [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f], particularly with [name_m]Otto[/name_m], but you’d have to nix [name_f]Marie[/name_f] for obvious reasons. [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] [name_f]Jeanne[/name_f] is nice; I’m not the biggest fan of [name_f]Jeanne[/name_f], but [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] is gorgeous.

Here are some of the best combinations I came up with:
[name_m]Otto[/name_m] [name_m]Warren[/name_m] & [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] [name_f]Marie[/name_f]
[name_m]Otto[/name_m] [name_m]Warren[/name_m] & [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] [name_f]Jeanne[/name_f] (is this pronounced jeen or jee-ann? “Jeen” is the sound I’m thinking of)

[name_f]Adelyn[/name_f] is a great choice!

Would Marjeanne be pronounced as “[name_f]Mary[/name_f]-[name_u]Jean[/name_u]” or like “[name_f]Marje[/name_f]-[name_f]Ann[/name_f]”?
Either way I think its a nice middle name to honor all the women in your life
