Hawaiian names

Hello berries!

I recently found the treasure trove of beautiful Hawaiian names!

My favourites are:

  • Halani (breath of heaven)
  • [name_f]Kailani[/name_f] (sea and sky)
  • Kaimana (the power of the ocean)
  • Kainoa (sea of freedom)
  • [name_u]Kalani[/name_u] (the heavens)
  • Kealani (clear heaven)
  • Keilani (glorious sky/heaven)
  • Keona (the attractive)
  • [name_f]Nalani[/name_f] (the heavens/the chiefs)
  • [name_f]Noelani[/name_f] (heavenly mist)
(Those are the meanings that I found, please correct me if I’m wrong!)

I think my overall favourite is [name_f]Noelani[/name_f], what’s yours?
[name_f]Do[/name_f] you think any of them are usable outside of [name_m]Hawaii[/name_m]?

Hey! Any of these names are useable outside of [name_m]Hawaii[/name_m] since they’re real names with meanings. I like [name_u]Kalani[/name_u], Keona, [name_f]Kailani[/name_f], Keilani, they’re really pretty!

My favorites from your list are [name_u]Kalani[/name_u] (positive associations with this name from [name_u]Kalani[/name_u] Hilliker as well!) and [name_f]Noelani[/name_f]!
I think they’re definitely usable outside of [name_m]Hawaii[/name_m], especially in countries that are pretty diverse such as the United States. Another name I wanted to suggest is [name_f]Leilani[/name_f] - I know a girl named [name_f]Leilani[/name_f] here in the States and think it’s gorgeous!

@mj21 That’s good to hear, they’re such beautiful names!

@fromtheocean12 [name_f]Leilani[/name_f] is gorgeous as well, but I actually went to school with a [name_f]Leilani[/name_f] and she kinda ruined the name for me unfortunately
