I prefer either [name_u]Haley[/name_u], [name_f]Hayley[/name_f], [name_f]Hailey[/name_f] or [name_f]Haylee[/name_f]! I don’t really like [name_f]Hayleigh[/name_f], I think that the “creative spelling” is a little too much for me!
I like my name, but some people default to [name_f]Hailey[/name_f], some default to [name_f]Hayley[/name_f], some to [name_f]Haylee[/name_f] and some to [name_u]Haley[/name_u] - it’s a mixed bag, really. [name_f]My[/name_f] name was almost [name_f]Hayleigh[/name_f], because my mom liked it more, but my dad said it’d be too hard for a kindergartener to spell
Just be forewarned, no matter what spelling you choose, you’ll likely have to correct at least some people. It’s annoying, but you get used to it.
I think [name_u]Haley[/name_u] is my favourite now, (biased), but I used to wish I was [name_f]Hailey[/name_f] or [name_f]Hayleigh[/name_f]!
I think I would prefer [name_f]Hailey[/name_f], but I have a terribly association with that one, so for me it’s probably either [name_u]Haley[/name_u] (simple, pretty, naturey) or [name_f]Haylie[/name_f] (kind of a GP, but looks like a nickname, which I think is quite sweet).
Hayley is super sweet and soft, and it’s easy to spell. This is my favorite, but [name_f]Hailey[/name_f] gave my friend the nn Hailstorm, which was cool.
Hayley was the name of a character from a story I used to write with a friend, so this spelling looks right to me. I also like [name_f]Hailey[/name_f].
