Hazel for a boy?

Sorry, but as [name_f]Hazel[/name_f] is #33 for girls in the U.S. where I live, I can’t see it as anything else other than a girl’s name. [name_f]My[/name_f] cat, a girl, is named [name_f]Hazel[/name_f]. It’s great if the association isn’t as strong in your country but it could be a hurdle if your son wanted to travel - it’s not only popular in the U.S. but is even more popular as a girl’s name in other countries as well too. While it isn’t necessarily fair that it’s easier for a girl to wear a traditionally masculine name versus a boy having a traditionally feminine name, I wouldn’t want to give my kid a name that could lead them to be teased by others.

In [name_u]Sweden[/name_u], it might be fine. Not in US. [name_m]Hazelton[/name_m]?
