Looking for a first name for our soon to be baby girl. Our first daughter is named [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] Bridewell Rubinoff. My last name was used as the middle. Am thinking about doing the same for the next dd (keeping Bridewell Rubinoff) and just coming up with a good first name.
We’ve been batting around [name_f]Hazel[/name_f] Bridewell Rubinoff and [name_f]Hannah[/name_f] Bridewell Rubinoff. I previously was set on [name_u]Wren[/name_u] but am now afraid it will be too trendy/quirky (and she won’t have any mn or nns to use if she doesn’t like it). Also thinking about [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] but worried it sounds strange with my last name ([name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] Bridewell Rubinoff). We’ve tossed around [name_f]Cora[/name_f], too.
Any thoughts/suggestions? Preferences between [name_f]Hazel[/name_f], [name_f]Hannah[/name_f], [name_u]Wren[/name_u], [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] and [name_f]Cora[/name_f]? Open to new name ideas, too! Thanks so much, berries!
[name_f]Hazel[/name_f] is gorgeous in that combo! I also like [name_u]Wren[/name_u] very much, and while I don’t think it’s all that trendy or different from [name_f]Hazel[/name_f], I don’t think it goes as well with [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f].
I find the name [name_f]Hannah[/name_f] doesn’t age well. I’m not sure why, but it sounds childish to me, or like an old woman, not in-between. Plus I do think its quite religious, not sure if that would bother you.
I [name_f]ADORE[/name_f] [name_f]Cora[/name_f] and [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f], and think both go just fine with the middle and last name.
Have you considered [name_f]Cornelia[/name_f] or [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] or [name_f]Coralie[/name_f] with the nn [name_f]Cora[/name_f]? If you want nn options, and if [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] has a nn, that might be the best choice
[name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] and [name_f]Hannah[/name_f] are beautiful as sisters. I also think [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] and [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] are lovely.
[name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] and -
[name_f]Anna[/name_f]
[name_f]Adeline[/name_f]
[name_f]Poppy[/name_f]
[name_u]Marion[/name_u]
[name_f]Emmeline[/name_f]
[name_f]Emma[/name_f]
[name_f]Josephine[/name_f]
[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]
[name_f]Annabel[/name_f]
[name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] is my favorite from your list. I also like [name_f]Cora[/name_f] and [name_f]Hannah[/name_f]. I dislike [name_f]Hazel[/name_f].
[name_f]Hazel[/name_f] goes very nicely with [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f].
I like [name_f]Cora[/name_f] best, followed by [name_f]Hazel[/name_f], then [name_f]Hannah[/name_f].
[name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] Bridewell Rubinoff {and} [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] Bridewell Rubinoff
OP here. We actually e call our first daughter ([name_f]Eleanor[/name_f]) [name_f]Lena[/name_f] (pronounced Leh-nah not the common pronunciation of [name_u]Lee[/name_u]-nah). [name_f]Do[/name_f] [name_f]Cora[/name_f] and [name_f]Lena[/name_f] sound to matchy?
[name_f]Cora[/name_f] and [name_f]Lena[/name_f]?
[name_f]Hazel[/name_f] and [name_f]Lena[/name_f]?
[name_f]Bea[/name_f] and [name_f]Lena[/name_f]?
