Originally due [name_f]December[/name_f] 25th, [name_m]Casper[/name_m] [name_m]Johan[/name_m] joined us earthside on [name_f]December[/name_f] 8th, arriving around 3 weeks early. It seems this boy was determined to not have anything close to a major holiday birthday because while he was brought out early for blood pressure concerns… during and after labor, those same BP numbers have been mysteriously perfect every time I like to think he worked some kind of magic so he could pick his own birthday!
[name_m]Casper[/name_m] is a name I love, has a [name_m]Christmas[/name_m] theme due to the Three [name_m]Magi[/name_m], and its meaning “bringer of treasure” encapsulates the happiness he has brought into my family’s life. His grandpa has a chronic illness and I set out to be a single mom by choice hoping to give my dad lots of time with his future grandchild. That wish came true and it’s beautiful to watch them together. [name_m]Johan[/name_m], baby’s middle name is the Scandinavian version of [name_m]John[/name_m], his grandpa’s name. The origin ties into our family as well as the lineage of his donor parent.
Congratulations, dear! Being able to watch Berries that have been here for years make a birth announcement is such a privilege, and yours is no exception. [name_m]Casper[/name_m] is absolutely perfect and so is his name! So much meaning and love packed into his first and middle – a true gift.
