Soooā¦ Iām going to ask you to bear with me and help a very tired newborn mama outāagain. Our baby girl still isnāt officially named, but after lots of back and forth (and plenty of input from her brothers and older sister), we think weāve finally settled on Thessaly for her first name.
Now weāre looking for two middle names. Her older sister is Evadne Seraphine Dove. Iāve been really liking Thessaly Isannah Grey, partly because it gives us the option of calling her Tig or Tiggy, which I find adorable. Weāre big nickname people, but not the āname them the nicknameā typeāwe like nicknames that make sense but still feel like a sweet, informal, family-used option.
Weāre not set on anything yet and would love suggestionsāespecially combos that naturally lend themselves to a cute nickname.

I totally get the appeal of building in the nickname [name_f]Tiggy[/name_f]. It is super cute. [name_f]Tess[/name_f], [name_f]Tessie[/name_f], [name_f]Tilly[/name_f] and [name_f]Essie[/name_f] are some other options. [name_f]Thessaly[/name_f] [name_f]Isannah[/name_f] is gorgeous, itās just [name_m]Grey[/name_m] I would reconsider since [name_f]Dove[/name_f] feels so much more uplifting than [name_m]Grey[/name_m].
That said, [name_f]Thessaly[/name_f] [name_f]Guinevere[/name_f] could also work as way to [name_f]Tiggy[/name_f] since the key initials are already there and āyā sound is between the T and G. This sort of nickname is already quite inventive, I think you can be fairly flexible.
I agree with @kachenka[name_f][/name_f] and am basically reiterating; would go [name_f]Thessaly[/name_f] [name_f]Isannah[/name_f] [name_f]Gem[/name_f], [name_m]Glow[/name_m], [name_m]Gwyn[/name_m] or [name_m]Gale[/name_m] or maybe [name_f]Goldie[/name_f] but Iād be wondering if [name_f]Goldie[/name_f] should go first: [name_f]Thessaly[/name_f] [name_f]Goldie[/name_f] [name_f]Isannah[/name_f] xxx (last name).

Something sprightly and symbolic.

Iām going to slightly disagree with others and say that to me, [name_m]Grey[/name_m] isnāt too much of a contrast with uplifting [name_f]Dove[/name_f]. I find [name_m]Grey[/name_m] chic and romantic. Honestly your other middle choices here are stunning but I think youāve got it nailed!

I donāt want to be that ācanāt go wrongā person, but can also see [name_m]Grey[/name_m] as very chic, itās very balanced and the colours of [name_f]Thessaly[/name_f] [name_f]Isannah[/name_f] & [name_m]Grey[/name_m] are all cool tomes (to me, blues, silver, mauves and obv grey). Itās very clean and tailored, and [name_m]Grey[/name_m] has more use and history in US for eg.
