We have not decided on a name, nor do we feel close to one as we keep throwing out new names - and my due date is next week.
We know we want to use [name]Scout[/name] as a first or middle name. We also have thought of using [name]Flynn[/name], but it doesn’t go with [name]Scout[/name] at all.
Options (and we’re open to hearing any others) are:
[name]Scout[/name] is a very interesting idea, and I think it could work really well paired with a more obviously feminine name (I agree that [name]Scout[/name] [name]Flynn[/name] sounds pretty boy-ish, but it’s cute!). I really like [name]Lila[/name] [name]Scout[/name] and [name]Scout[/name] [name]Emmeline[/name]!!
I think [name]Scout[/name] is a really cute name. I actually know someone who goes by [name]Scout[/name] (her first name is [name]Elizabeth[/name]), as [name]Scout[/name] is her middle name and she prefers it. I think [name]Scout[/name] in the middle works best (in my opinion).
I love [name]Lila[/name] [name]Scout[/name]. It is my favorite from your list. I also like [name]Lucinda[/name] [name]Scout[/name] (maybe [name]Lucy[/name] [name]Scout[/name]- i love that)?
I have a few other suggestions:
[name]Louisa[/name] [name]Scout[/name]
[name]Jocelyn[/name] [name]Scout[/name]
[name]Freya[/name] [name]Scout[/name]
[name]Ivy[/name] [name]Scout[/name]
how long is the last name? are there are any names or name endings/beginnings that absolutley wouldnt work?
From your list, I love [name]Clementine[/name] [name]Scout[/name] and [name]Lila[/name] [name]Scout[/name].
We were considering [name]Scout[/name] as a middle. My bf wants our daughter to be named [name]Willow[/name] [name]Scout[/name].
One suggestion I have is [name]Delilah[/name] [name]Scout[/name], instead of [name]Lila[/name] [name]Scout[/name]. To me, it sounds a little more complete.
[name]Willow[/name] [name]Scout[/name] is adorable! As for [name]Delilah[/name], I was also thinking of changing the spelling perhaps to [name]Lilah[/name] [name]Scout[/name].
My first thought for you was [name]Matilda[/name] [name]Scout[/name] Cohn. As another poster said, I think with a short last name like Cohn, you want to keep [name]Scout[/name] in the middle. You could still call your daughter [name]Scout[/name], though! Other ideas:
My favorites are [name]Elinor[/name] [name]Scout[/name], [name]Gwendolen[/name] [name]Scout[/name], [name]Lydia[/name] [name]Scout[/name], [name]Matilda[/name] [name]Scout[/name], [name]Penelope[/name] [name]Scout[/name], and [name]Ramona[/name] [name]Scout[/name] Cohn. Best of luck to you!
Hm. That’s a tough one. [name]Clover[/name] Cohn just doesn’t sound right to me - it sounds like a clover cone, whatever that is! I think you might find that with many a nature name and your last name, but are you looking for a nature name or something a little more classic? What about [name]Camellia[/name] [name]Scout[/name] Cohn? That gives you [name]Cami[/name], [name]Lia[/name], and [name]Scout[/name] as nicknames. [name]Magnolia[/name] [name]Scout[/name] Cohn? [name]Maggie[/name], [name]Nola[/name], [name]Lia[/name], and [name]Scout[/name] for nicknames. Or, something even bolder like [name]Juniper[/name] [name]Scout[/name] Cohn? That gives you [name]June[/name] (oh, [name]June[/name] Cohn’s a no!), [name]Junie[/name], [name]Peri[/name], and [name]Scout[/name] for nicknames…
My favorite off your list are [name]Violet[/name] [name]Scout[/name] and [name]Lila[/name] [name]Scout[/name]. [name]Both[/name] names however are becoming more popular. I’m not sure if that is a concern for you. If so here are some less common options:
