Help changing first name?

Hello! I decided a few years ago that I want to change my first name because I kind of hate it but I haven’t been able to settle on “the one”. Here are the names I have considered:

[name_m]Ewell[/name_m] - yoo-el/yool, “river source”, “winter solstice”
[name_m]Sacheverell[/name_m] - sah-shev-er-ell, “roebuck leap” (I like the nn [name_m]Sachie[/name_m] for this, a bit feminine but I’m not bothered by that)
[name_m]Sorley[/name_m] - “summer sailor”
[name_m]Sulien[/name_m] - sil-yen, “sun born”
[name_u]Loren[/name_u] - “from laurentium”, “place of laurel trees”
[name_u]Autry[/name_u] - “noble strength”
[name_u]Leland[/name_u] - “meadowland”
[name_u]Ira[/name_u] - eye-ra, “watchful one”

What are your thoughts on these? Any particular associations/impressions? Any you think I should strike from my list? I would love some suggestions as well. Thank you!

[name_m]Ewell[/name_m], [name_u]Leland[/name_u] and [name_u]Ira[/name_u] are lovely!

These names all have such cool meanings! I can tell you my first impression on each:
[name_m]Ewell[/name_m]- To Kill A Mockingbird [name_m]Bob[/name_m] [name_m]Ewell[/name_m], bit a really positive association, I am sad to admit.
[name_m]Sacheverell[/name_m]- I really had no clue how to pronounce this at first.
[name_m]Sulien[/name_m]- I think people would definitely pronounce it wrong, but I think it’s cool.
[name_u]Ira[/name_u]- In my opinion, it looked more like a female name, sort of like [name_f]Ida[/name_f].
I really really like [name_u]Leland[/name_u], [name_u]Loren[/name_u], [name_m]Sorley[/name_m] and [name_u]Autry[/name_u]. Good luck and I hoped this helped!

Although we have very different styles, I love [name_u]Ira[/name_u]; I think it’s a beautiful and strong boy’s name. Most of the other names are less my style, but [name_u]Loren[/name_u] is also lovely sounding with a good meaning. I do, unfortunately, associate [name_m]Ewell[/name_m] with [name_m]Bob[/name_m] [name_m]Ewell[/name_m].

I love [name_u]Leland[/name_u] so much! Such a handsome name with a great meaning. I also really like [name_m]Sulien[/name_m] (I think it may get some pronunciation issues, but it’s an easy thing to correct!), [name_u]Loren[/name_u], and [name_u]Autry[/name_u].
Unfortunately I also think of [name_m]Bob[/name_m] [name_m]Ewell[/name_m], maybe [name_m]Ewan[/name_m] instead?

Sorley or [name_u]Ira[/name_u]!
Must be hard choosing a name for yourself. Maybe try seeing which name you feel connected to - if that makes sense

I like [name_u]Ira[/name_u] a lot!!

I’ll suggest [name_m]Sylvan[/name_m], [name_m]Soren[/name_m] and [name_u]Asa[/name_u]

I love [name_m]Sulien[/name_m], [name_m]Sorley[/name_m], [name_u]Loren[/name_u], [name_u]Autry[/name_u], [name_u]Ira[/name_u] and [name_m]Sacheverell[/name_m], although I think the latter is probably too much to wear IRL!

[name_m]Sulien[/name_m] would be my favourite — lovely sound, gorgeous meaning.

Wow these are amazing names, most I’ve never seen before. [name_m]Sorley[/name_m] and [name_m]Sulien[/name_m] are my favourites, with [name_m]Ewell[/name_m] third. [name_u]Loren[/name_u] feels very girly to me so that’s the only one I don’t really like. Best of luck choosing!
