It is from a book I read when I was a kid and I have always loved it
Well, at first I thought it said Tumnus, like from [name_f]Narnia[/name_f], not Timmus, and I was about to give a resounding no. lol
I think Timmus is strange. When you say it out loud, it doesn’t sound too terribly odd, but visually it looks weird to me. Obviously, as evidenced above. Ha. That being said, I don’t think it is too bad to use if you really love it. It reminds me of [name_m]Timmy[/name_m] or [name_m]Timothy[/name_m], but with a twist. Definitely not my style, but it is not as odd as some names I’ve seen suggested on here and if it’s your thing, you do you! =D
I quite like it, but it is one of those names that’s so unusual that it could come across a little odd/made-up. [name_m]How[/name_m] do you feel about Timeus? It’s a Biblical name meaning “admirable, honourable” - so a great meaning and, I think, a lovely flowy sound.
I like it!
It has a nice sound, and it’s great how it means something to you
It’s too weird for me.
I find it odd sounding. I like the suggestion of Timeus though.
I like it…
I don’t think it’s really weird… I just don’t like it
It’s close enough to [name_m]Timmy[/name_m], [name_m]Timothy[/name_m] and [name_m]Timeo[/name_m] to be usable, [name_f]IMO[/name_f].
